You stare at Jean in annoyance. Just wishing to smack that stupid smirk right off his face. You begin to get impatient with him.

"I've done nothing wrong (y/n) I don't understand why you're so upset." He says sweetly before shrugging. knowing full well that he was the reason why you were upset.

"I swear to god Jean." You say threateningly. He chuckles amusingly.

"What do you want me to say (y/n)?" He asks innocently which made the urge to smack him rise even more. You were literally inches away from his face. Considering the fact that you were on your tip-toes and really close to his face, In a kind of threatening manner. Which he didn't find threatening at all, he found it very cute and amusing actually. You growl just seeing his smile grow bigger.

You could do it, smack him into next year, but something held you back from hitting him. Maybe because you liked him? Yeah, shockingly. It had to be him of all people! The only person who knew how to push all your buttons. And you were friends with him. Best friends to be exact.

Even if he did annoy you most of the time he was actually a good friend. Even though he teased you a lot, he still made you smile.

You always had a weird friendship with the horse faced boy. He always made you pissed off somehow and he enjoyed doing so, which made you pissed off even more. But eventually he would apologize and make up for making you so mad. But that doesn't excuse him for continuing to irritate you.

You wanted to be looked at as "mean." But apparently Jean didn't seem to see you as "mean" rather cute.

You jab your finger into his chest.

"You know exactly 'what' Jean. Answer my god damn question. Who do you like?!" You growl at him. Yes, this is why you were bickering with the multicolored hair boy. You wanted to know who he liked. You and Eren began to bet who he liked. Eren swears he likes you and you blushed before you guessed he liked Mikasa. And you wanted to know. You needed to know to prove Eren wrong! But Jean being his stubborn self wouldn't tell you.

"I really don't know what you're talking about (y/n).." He says before leaning a bit closer. Your noses almost touching. If you could blush you'd be as red as a tomato but luckily you've been lucky enough so you wouldn't be able to blush as easily. Thank god for that.

"Stop beating around the bush!" You yell.

"What bush?" He asks sarcastically.

"It was a figure of speech-" you stop talking before scowling at him.

"Are you patronizing me?" You ask, venom in your voice. You soon regretted asking.

"I don't know, am I (y/n)?" He asks before you flail your arms in the air in frustration. He always did this. Made you frustrated and think twice and always always always answer your questions with one of his stupid questions. Because he answers your questions with questions. You just wanted a valid answer from him. That's all. But him being the smart-ass he is knows you get really distorted when you don't know the answer and so he decides to use your frustration to amuse him.

He thought it was cute how you got upset and tried to act "threatening" to him. But he knew you too well to know what you would and wouldn't do.
