I'm not sure how I thought Jericho was going to react to my kiss. But it's safe to say I was more than pleasantly surprised when he quickly kisses me back.

Kissing comes naturally with Jericho, even if it's my first time doing it. I know for sure it's not Jericho's- considering the fact that he's way less hesitant than me and seems to know like he actually know what he's doing. It's weird at first, but I quickly love it- sparks ignite in my body everywhere, leaving me in a high. Even though I'm completely new to this, I still feel completely comfortable because I'm with Jericho and it's him I'm kissing and- holy shit, I'm kissing Jericho.

We finally pull away when I run out of breath. Jericho just shakes his head at me when I take some time to catch my breath, laughing breathlessly. There's a huge smile on Jericho's face as he blinks, turning his head away and shaking his head, continuing his soft laughter. Suddenly, I feel different- I feel lighter and all around happier, like I'm standing on top of the world. I just kissed my soulmate, the person I'm going to be with the rest of my life, and I'd happily kiss him again and again for eternity.

Jericho turns his head slightly to look me in the eyes again before his hand quickly shoots up, cupping the back of my neck and pulling me into another kiss. I close my eyes, leaning into it before he pulls away again, swallowing roughly. I don't bother him, just take his hand which he gratefully squeezes. He's obviously fighting an internal battle, and I don't want to intrude.

He shakes his head, "That was amazing, you're amazing, everything about you is just so fucking amazing-"

He cuts himself off when he hastily leans forward again, roughly placing his lips atop mine again. I don't mind, though. I think back to the words I told Arsenio- you truly fall in love with your soulmate when you realize exactly why fate put you two together.

And I think I've finally realized exactly why.

We're parked outside Arsenio's house, Jericho's hand clasping tightly onto mine while Jericho stares down at Jude in his lap, who is sleeping. His eyes skip to Arsenio's house every now and then, is still lit up, but each and every time his grip on my hand increases and he drops his eyes again.

"I don't want to go," he mutters.

"I don't want you to go," I agree. I lean my head back, letting myself examine Jericho's face once more. God, he's so fucking handsome. I don't know how I ended up so damn lucky. "Can I kiss you again?"

Jericho doesn't give me a verbal answer, just a small smile as he leans forwards and kisses me once more. It's long and lingering, only stopping because Jude begins to bark in discomfort at Jericho's position. Jericho laughs, pulling away and gathering Jude in his arms, making Jude give him a high-five before burying his face in Jude's fur, sighing softly.

Finally, he puts Jude in my lap, giving me a soft smile. "I'll see you tomorrow, Natalie."

I smile back, "Tomorrow." He undoes his belt, hesitating with getting out when I add, "Take your sleeping pills."

He chuckles, "I will, don't worry. Don't study too much."

I laugh, too. "I won't. Trust me."

Jericho laughs and leans over to kiss me again. I'm guessing it was supposed to be just a peck, but lasts longer than originally planned. I push him away, though, when I see in the corner of my eye that Arsenio steps out through the front door. Jericho turns to see where I'm looking before realizing why I pushed him off, giving me one last crooked smile before opening the door and jumping out.

When Jericho reaches Arsenio, Arsenio hits him in the back of the head before beginning to use wild arm gestures between my car and him. I hear something about wanting details, but instead of listening I just roll my eyes, putting Jude back in the passenger seat and driving home.
