The sounds of Disney music filled the air.
The sounds of laughter, perfection and beauty.
The sounds of the magazine pages filled the room.
The sounds of children's laughter filled the air.
The sounds of Delilah's sobs muffled through her mother's shirt.
The sounds of running footsteps filled the air.
Death lingered in the air.
Death was calling Delilah's name.
Death was going to take life. Death stopped and decided to leave the little girl alone.
In the hospital was a little girl.
The girl who wanted to be perfect like society had wanted.
The girl who almost destroyed her life.
Leaving her family begging for her to wake up.
