Delilah looked at the blade in her hand.

She needed a way to reveal her sadness.

A way to let the pain out.

She couldn't talk to anyone. Her family would freak out and take her to the hospital. She didn't have any friends. She had no one.

Delilah sat in her bathtub. The warm water swished against her skin. It left tingles everywhere it touched.

The blade was a few inches anyway from her leg. It got closer and closer as the words echoed in her mind.

The blade was know touching her skin. It lightly glazed the surface.

But like a switch Delilah pulled her hand and threw the knife on the floor of her bathroom.

Her eyes widened with shock. She was mortified. She was going to destroy herself for the joy of other people.

With angry thoughts, her fists clenched. She wouldn't waste her life for society's rules!
