The family was too busy. They didn't know what was happening in their daughter's mind.
All the signs they saw but shrugged them away.
Her father was busy collecting money with two jobs so they could afford rent. He was busy he didn't have time to realize what was happening to his princess.
Her mother was juggling with her job and housework. She didn't even realize that her daughter was skipping most of her meals.
Her older brother was always outside hanging out with his friends. He never played with his little sister who he called annoying. He was embarrassed by her.
The family ignored Delilah which ended with her in the hospital.
But this time they will save her.
