I spent the next couple days stuck up in this room bored out of my mind trying to think of my next escape. The only time I would ever see anybody was when Marcy would bring me meals or at night when Adam would come and sleep in the bed.

My days were pretty boring and spent doing nothing really besides  trying to think of ways to escape. But when I wasn't doing that, I was busy exploring more of the room, going through every nook and cranny there was because else was there to do?

Now, I was just laying on the bed, bored out of my mind, staring up at the ceiling. I was tired of trying to come up with ideas honestly, nothing was good. But maybe since nothing was good, that didn't mean it wouldn't hurt to try, no matter how terrible they turn out to be. I don't care if I'm stuck in this room or chained to some thing, (even though I doubt he would do that) I wasn't going to sit on my a** all day and do nothing.

Suddenly, the perfect idea popped into my head. But did I have enough time to get ready for it? I looked over at the alarm clock on the beside table, just under a half hour. Just enough time.

I sprung up from the bed and raced over to the bathroom to find something suitable to do the job with. This may be my last shot at freedom but I was going to take it. Even if I didn't particularly like what I was going to do, it was the best shot I had.

I looked around the bathroom for what would be of use. There was nothing really to good, at least not something that wouldn't make a guy bleed or hurt them enough.

I finally just decided to grab the shower head, unhooking it and everything, before going to stand beside the door. Just about five minutes left. I stood there patiently but also in anticipation. Finally, after what seemed like forever, the door opened. First a tray came into view with her lunch on it. Then, in came a girl with dark blonde hair that ended just below her shoulders.

Once she was visible I said, "I'm sorry, Marcy," she turned her head towards me and I continued, "I hope you forgive me." I knocked her out cold. Her body slumped to the ground. I really hated doing this to her, she was actually nice and we had a few chats. But it wasn't much.

Looking at the open door, I took my chance and sprinted my way out of the room and down the hall and stairs. I made sure to go as quickly and quietly as possible so as not to alert anyone, and by anyone I meant Adam. I didn't know how far his werewolf hearing could get, it was a mystery to me but I sure wasn't going to stick around to find out. I needed to get back to my parents. They must be worried sick.  Who knows what they could be thinking about me? They must have also called the authorities. Als-

I crashed into a wall. I didn't notice it caught up so much in my thoughts. Looking up, I saw Adam standing above me, his eyes dark. He reached down to grab me but before he could, I scrambled to my feet and sprinted off like the wind and down another flight of stairs, the last one.

I grinned in victory as I saw the front door and just as I touched the knob, arms wrapped around my waist. I screamed. "Let me go!" I started kicking and thrashing in his arms. "I'm never going to stay here! You can't make me!"

I was thrown down onto a brown leather couch in the living room, which was quite unexpected because usually he would bring me back up to his room and lock the door. When I glanced up at him, a bewildered look spread across my face as I saw him pinch the bridge of his nose.

"I so did not do this right," he murmured under his breath, just enough for me to hear. I was even more confused at this statement. What did he mean he didn't do this right? Kidnap me? You got that right there bucko.

His eyes then snapped open, dark brown ones staring down at me. I just looked up at him, a bit terrified as he came down and put his arms on either side of me.

"I'm sorry," he murmured close to my ear.

Why was he apologizing? This was just getting even more weird than before.

Suddenly, his hand on the right side of me was brought back to in front of my face and he opened it to reveal gold... dust? Why was there gold dust?

Before my thoughts could go much further, Adam said, "I hope you can forgive me." He then blew it in my face and the world went dark.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm so sorry for the late update. I was a bit stuck on how to approach this and I've also been really busy, especially since school is literally just around the corner. And now that I have my school laptop, I can't get on wattpad between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. because they've blocked it. So it's much harder for me to find the time to write. This is also why I wasn't able to update and when I was able to, I had to go somewhere else so I couldn't write. So once again, I'm sorry.

Anyways, what did you think of this chapter? And what's up with the gold dust? Do any of you have an idea for what it is?
