My eyes opened suddenly, as a raindrop hit face.
I turned my head over slightly to see Felix fast asleep, lightly snoring.
The sight made me chuckle, but I held back not wanting to wake him up.
I realized that wasn't a choice, as the rain began to come down at a bigger quantity and speed.
Felix opened his eyes and shot up.
He looked around confused, then looked at me and laughed.
We were both getting soaked so he helped me up, and we went to the edge of the roof.
"Never done this in the rain!" I shouted through the loud pitter-patter.
"That's what she said." Felix pointed at me and winked a bunch of times.
I thought about it for a second.
"What girls have you been with?" I giggled, blinking drops out of my eyes.
"Well... You..." We both chuckled, and brought our attention back to the ledge.
Felix shrugged and flashed a smile before climbing down like a freaking monkey.
I stood there in awe until Felix gestured for me to come down.
I began to climb down, but slipped, hitting my head against the wall, and bouncing off backwards down into my death.
I hit the floor and died.
Just kidding. Felix caught me.
"Gotcha!" Felix chuckled as I held my head.
He put me down.
"You alright?" His expression changed to concern.
I squeezed my eyes shut and shook my head no.
The rain hitting my head like bullets didn't help. My temples throbbed as Felix grabbed me by the hand and pulled me towards my bike.
"I'll ride, can you stand on the pegs?"
I stepped on and wrapped my arms around him. Felix was going really fast, which scared me, especially under these weather conditions. I decided to close my eyes.
I rested my head on his back and just wanted to fall asleep.
"We're here!" Before I knew it I was thrown over Felix's shoulder and carried inside his house.
"Hey! Put me down! I can walk you know!"
Felix put me down suddenly and I was a bit off balance so I a took hold of his arm.
"Wait here." He leaned me against the door and I let out a huff.
He came back in less than a minute with a towel. He wrapped it around me and I shivered, realizing just how cold it was in here.
He then plopped an ice bag on the top of my head.
He stepped behind me, and grabbed ahold of both my shoulders, guiding me through his home.
He sat me on his couch and turned on the T.V.
"Make yourself at home, I'm gonna make some food."
I looked at the receiver to find the time: 4:04.
My eyes widened and I jumped up.
"I-I gotta go to work!" I was quite off balance, but scrambled to the door.
Felix jumped in front of the door, his hair tied up in a towel.
"Not in your condition. Call in sick."
