you said you are a monster.
your eyes glisten with acceptance and your lips curve into a humorless smile.
i tell you i don't believe you. a subtle laugh escapes your mouth.
you assure me that you are, in fact, a monster, if only deep down.you hide between insincerity and flattery, but you know who you really are, and that's all that really matters.
but i still don't believe you.
because if you are a monster, then every human on this earth must be as well.
i give in and say i trust your word, but also that you are the most beautiful monster i have ever seen, inside and out.you laugh again, and it rattles me to the core.
