We ran into a huge empty room. But not for long. Orcs poured out of the roof and circled around us. This was it, I wasn't going to make it. None of us were. But then there was a roar and flame poured out of the door. The orcs ran back up into roof. Legolas and I stood behind Gandalf. My heart stopped beating and I turned to Gandalf and whispered
"A Balrog. We should have never come here."  Gandlaf sighed and said to me
"And I am already weary. Swords and arrows are not use here, run." In a loud voice he shouted
"Run! To the bridge, this is a foe greater then any of you."

We ran around this stair case that went on forever. Finale Gandalf shouted
"There is the bridge!" I was running right behind Boromir, who suddenly stopped. Legolas grabbed him but I fell.
I blindly grabbed at the cliff and tore my hands, into what felt like thousand pieces.
"Vilya!" Screamed Aragorn. I started to panic again as my hands started to slip. Then someone grabbed my hands and pulled me up. I was looking straight into Legolas's eyes.
"Thank you." He gave a sort of smile and jumped across the gap. I took a few steps back and I had a run up.
"I'll catch you, Vilya." Legolas said. I nodded and ran and jumped. My feet were in the air for about a second then I felt strong arms around my hips and steady me.
"Thank you...... Legolas." That was the first time I had said his name. We both helped Boromir and the hobbits. Legolas caught Gandalf and grabbed Gimli's beard as he started to fall.
"Not the beard!" He shouted but Legolas didn't have a choice. Just before Aragorn and Frodo jumped the stair case started to move. It broke away. My hand went to my mouth. For a moment it looked like they were going to die. But Aragorn did some quick thinking and they both fell into Legolas's and Boromir's arms. I sighed with relief and Gandlaf said
"Quickly now!"  We ran across the bridge. The Balrog was now at the bridge. Gandlaf shouted
"Go back to the darkness, demon of Morgoth. I am the wielded of the secret fire, the flame of Anor. Go back to the shadows!" The Balrog roared at Gandalf. Gandalf shouted
"You should not pass!" He broke the bridge and the Balrog fell. I was about to cry out with joy and it never came out. The balrog's whip grabbed Gandalf's foot and pulled him to the edge of the bridge. I started to ran towards him, but Legolas grabbed me and held me back. Boromir was holding back Frodo. Gandalf whispered
"Fly you fools!" Then he dropped. I screamed, but Legolas was pulling me away. I pushed him off and walked out into the open air. Everyone dropped on to the stone ground. I walked over to Frodo and shouted in his face
"This is all your fault!! If you had not chosen the mines Gandalf might be still here!" Frodo's face went blank and I went to attack the hobbit. But Legolas grabbed me and pulled me away.
"Calm down!" Then he walked off and I saw tears in his eyes. Then I closed my eyes and hung my head. Aragorn said
"Legolas, Vilya, get the hobbits to their feet." Boromir screamed at Aragorn
"Give them a moment for pity's sake!" Aragorn sighed and replied
"Bu night fall, these hills will be crawling with orcs. We need to get to Lothlorien." I helped Pippin and Merry and watched as Aragorn called Frodo back and I walked up to Frodo.
"Frodo, I am sorry for my words before. It was not true. Can you forgive me?" Frodo nodded and I saw tears cripple off his nose. I pulled him close and we walked together for a long time.
