By December 1952, RFK worked with Senator Joe McCarthy. With the horror of Communism in the air, America was spooked by the enemy.

     By July 1953, McCarthy, the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, (SPSI) Assistant Counsel; RFK worked on The Hoover Commission, (part of J Edgar Hoover's FBI team of investigators), and then, after a brief lull, was the Chief Counsel for the US Senate Committee, CCSC), (February of 1954); RFK was the senior "Chief Counsel" by January of 1955, due to his impressive performance as Senator McCarthy ruined everyone in the US Senate in 1954 by, quote, "Naming names of important people in Hollywood, authors, and show business who had Communist links...and held Anti-American views...and were unpatriotic", unquote.
