Chapter 17| News

" Sky, what's wrong?" I asked. She sat down at the booth and sipped on her drink.
" Nothing, I'm just not feeling right. " Sky sighed as she put her drink down.
" Hey, look at this!" Matt pointed at a café.
" I think I'm needed." Sky whispered.
" Where?" I asked.
" The ocean." I stared at her.
" Someone is causing this and I think I know who it is." Sky said.
" Well, I'm coming with you." I said.
" No, it's okay." Sky said as she got up.

I stood by the ocean. It has been an hour since she left.
" Christina!" I turned around and saw Carter and Nash.
" Hey." I said as I waved to them.
" Sky didn't come back yet?" Nash asked. I shook my head.
" Look!" Carter pointed towards the ocean where Sky appeared over the surface.
" Sky!" I shouted. She looked at me then waved. Minutes later, she came back on land once her legs formed.
" So what happened?" I asked her.
" It was nothing. " She said, breaking the minute of silence.
" Maybe we should go home. It's kind of hot out here." Nash said. We all walked back home.
" I need food." Matt said as he sat on the floor.
" Maybe you should buy some." I said, looking at him.
" You're mean. Sky, tell your friend to be nicer! " Matt whined. I rolled my eyes as I turned to Sky.
" Sky?" I questioned as I lightly pushed her shoulder.
" Hm," She looked at us. " Oh, sorry. I wasn't paying attention."
I looked away to suddenly seeing Matt. He was two inches away from my face.
" Buy me food." He said.
" No." I pushed him away from me. He sat up and looked at all of us.
" I'll buy myself food then." He mumbled to himself as he got up then walked away.
My mind soon wandered off to Sky. What can she be hiding?
" Oh, Christina. Guess what?" Nash said with a smile. I shrugged.
" I am taking you to Disney World!"
" What? How?" I shout as I hug him tightly.
" I'm full of surprises." He winked at me. My smile grows wider.
