                            ~*~Adria POV~*~

Laughter filled my ears as I bounced in and out of consciousness. The smell of metal and blood filled my nose as my eyes struggled to stay open. I was strapped into some time of seat with a blue seat belt stained in blood that was oozing out of my side. I touched the source and pain erupted all over "Hey, hey! Stay with me we're almost there." I looked over to see Bellamy strapped in next to me "W-where?" I wondered dazed and confused "The ground." He said as he took my free hand and held it tightly. I tried to keep my focus, but my strength was exiting my body with the blood "My f-fingers," I tried to tell Bellamy "What? What's wrong?" He worried "C-cold." I said before my eyes shut. There was a muffled noise and then screaming, but I was so far out of it by then.

                     ~*~Bellamy POV~*~

I was so consumed in Adria's well being I hadn't been paying attention much to the others around me, or the fact that we were plummeting to earth in a ship that was build over a hundred years ago. I watched a few kids begin to unbuckle themselves and heard someone snapping and telling them to get back in their seats. Rolling my eyes suddenly the ship began to shake and everything flickered as a girl screamed. I reached down and grabbed a hold of Adria's unresponsive hand and held it tight. I gave the Griffin girl a smile to keep her calm, but my efforts were diminished when the tremors worsened and my head flew back into the seat causing me to groan loudly. The kids that had unbuckled themselves had been thrown against these pipes that released a weird gas as I assumed we entered the atmosphere. There was another large thump that seemed to come from outside the ship and then all was still. It took a few moments for anyone to speak up "No engine hum that's a first." I heard a boy say. I let go of Adria's hand and was quick to unbuckle my seat belt, if there was even a slight chance that I would be able to get out of these metal contraptions. I leaned over to Adria feeling for a pulse once more, it was slow and faint but she was still alive. I looked up to see all of the other kids crowded by the doors ready to open them. I needed to get them out of here so the Griffin girl could save Adria. "No! Don't open the door!" The Griffin girl pushed her way to the front of the crowd "You can't open the door! The air could be toxic!" She yelled and I shoved my way to the front grabbing the door ready to open it so I could get her alone "Either way. We'll die." I said as I went to open the door "Bellamy?" A girl with long brown hair and brown eyes pushed her way to the front and I smiled "Look at how big you've gotten." I grabbed her hugging her tightly making sure not to let the blood on my shirt get on her. I let her go and made sure the blood was covered by the jacket I stole "Why the hell are you dressed like a guard?" She asked me with scrunched eye brows. "Hey where's your wristband?" The Griffin girl asked cutting in "Do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a year." Octavia looked at the other girl agitated "Nobody has a brother!" Someone from the crowd yelled "That's Octavia Blake! The girl they found hidden in the floor!" I narrowed my eyes and Octavia glared at the crowd. Clearly she didn't like that being said and with a pissed off look she went to beat the living crap out of the guy who said it only I grabbed her arm to stop her "Let's give them something else to remember you by." I said and she looked at me and spoke with a raised eyebrow "Like what?" "Like being the first person in a hundred years to step foot on the ground." A big smile lit up her face as I opened the door and a bright glare caused me to squint my eyes before they adjusted and the door completely opened. I waited impatiently as she took her sweet time walking down the ramp and as her feet touched the ground her back arched and she yelled to the sky "We're back bitches!" others followed her out and as the Griffin girl did I snagged her arm "Please," I begged. It took her a moment and she nodded "Where is she?" She asked and I dragged her over to Adria. "Lay her on this." She ordered me as she pulled over a pile of jackets on the floor. I unbuckled her limp body and laid her on the cloths. The girl immediately tore away the cloth I had tied to try and stop the blood along with ripping away most of Adria's shirt. I could see the gruesome hole in her side where the bullet remained in her skin "I have to get the bullet out." The girl said seriously before looking for something "What is it?" I asked impatiently "I need something sharp, a piece of metal, something with a point." She tried to tell me. I reached into Adria's boot, jackpot. "Here," I handed her Adria's knife she kept with her at all times. I wondered if this was the knife she used on Marko. I shook the thought away as the girl stuck the knife into Adria's skin and began to move it around. After a few moments something small rose to the surface of Adria's skin and the girl pulled it out to reveal a small silver bullet. She tossed it to the side and frowned deeply "What's wrong?" I panicked "She's stopped bleeding," She tried to tell me "She's dead." She finished and I shook my head refusing the idea "No." I looked down at her blood covered hands. The warm sticky fluid spilled down the front of my shirt, down the length of my torso and onto the floor pooling around me. "What have I done? Monster, abomination. Sure but murderer?" I didn't think I was capable. It was my fault she got shot, a cold blooded killer I had become. Dust fell gracefully around the gory scene. Once could walk through the secluded ship to see me, a strong man crouched over a long dark haired beauty bleeding from her injuries that I had caused. She was dying right in front of me. "My murderous act must be justified?" I was just trying to protect her, the woman I loved, Adria. The woman in front of me, she was going to be floated, she was going to die so I interrupted. I felt for her pulse only to find nothing, just cold pale skin. All is lost, I was too late. She was dead. I tried to save her, but I was too late. I wanted nothing more than to save Adria so I jumped in to the fight, I broke her out. I shot the Chancellor and we escaped, I didn't even see the bullet that hit her. I was too consumed in the plan to get out, and not in her safety. I was sure the others were going to come running to see us but they were only going to find our gory mess. Adrianna Deyanria Kane, she was dead. I couldn't process this. Octavia was going to come and she going to find me, drenched in Adria's blood broken and bloody. Mentally I was falling apart because of me Adria was dead. The only person I had ever loved was dead. I was alone. I would never see her walk through the door and smile at the sight of me again. I would never roll over and see her watching me sleep. Never get to hear her voice, her laugh. Never get to marry her, never get to see her hold her child. Never live the rest of my days out with her. I was going to spend the rest of my days without her. Alone with regret and thoughts of what could have been. All those thoughts passed throughout my heart and mind in about eight seconds. I took a breath and realized Adria would never take another, and I broke. I did my best not to break down in front of a stranger, but I was failing horridly. I took Adria's bloodied hand in one hand and her head in the other. I laid my head on her bloodied chest and looked upon her incomprehensive face, I sobbed at the sight of her. Seeing her like this was painful "Please wake up." I begged hysterically "Dria! You have to get up!" I ordered but was met with silence. I pulled myself closer draping my arms over her, taking her bloodied face in my hands as my legs fell behind me. "Please wake up! You have to!" I yelled but he didn't budge "Where supposed to live happily ever after remember!" I cried, my tears spilling onto her face, diluting her blood. "We're supposed to be in love forever. I was going to marry you! We're supposed to raise our kids together! We're supposed to grow old together! We're supposed to stay together forever! But you have to get up!!" I screamed to her. Her unmoving sight made me crumble over him and cry harder into her blood soaked shirt. "No!" I whispered as I held her sadly. I felt a anger in me raging towards the girl who was supposed to save Adria "You have to save her!" I yelled full of rage to the blond girl before me who managed to sew up Adria's wound with wires from the ship "You have to do something!" I yelled louder "There's only one thing I can do and it probably won't work." She tried to tell me "Do it." I said coldly "If there's a chance to save her, you have to do it." I ordered her and she nodded submissively. I watched her use the knife I gave her and pry off a wire from the ship. Sparks flew off the end of it, shooting out at the floor "You need to be ready to give her CPR." She told me seriously and I nodded as I let go of Adria's body. The girl slowly put the wire to Adria's chest. Her back arched off the floor as it convulsed violently before us. The girl tore the wire away from Adria's body and I immediately leaned down and pressed my lips to hers, blowing air into her body before tearing away and staring compression on her chest. I counted to five mimicking the force I was pressing onto her skin. I tore my hands away before the Griffin girl touched the wire back to Adria's skin. Her body jolted just as before, shaking uncontrollably. As the Griffin girl pulled the wire away once more I went to breath for Adria, but I was interrupted by the most beautiful sound in the world. The sound I would never take for granted another day in my life, the sound of a lifeless woman taking a breath. Her breath was jagged and small but she breathed, she was coming back to me. I leaned into her and took her pulse, it was weak but it was there "She's alive!" I almost yelled in relief. The girl pushed the wire back into place before she pressed her fingers to Adria's wrist, counting as her heart beat. "She should be dead. She's lucky." The girl said dumbfounded "She's a survivor." I said as I picked Adria's head up to lay it in my lap.

We sat there for a minute as the adrenaline wore off "What happened to her?" The girl asked me and I looked to her with fierce eyes "Thanks for saving her life, you can leave now." I almost ordered her. "That's how you treat someone who saved your girlfriends life?" She scoffed offended "Please, just go." I ordered her and she rolled her eyes before standing up. "Fine, don't tell me. And don't ask me to help you again." She said harshly before storming out "As you wish princess." I sneered as she stepped out of the drop ship.
