~*~Adria POV~*~

I rolled over on something soft and grunted when I felt the pain shoot through my side. Light streamed in through a window above the pile of jackets I was laying on. The smell of burnt wood wafted heavily in the air around me. I looked to my left and saw a metal wall. The same went for the other three. In the center of the floor was a twist open air lock, like a door to a submarine. I rotated my head so that I could look at the wall above my head. There was a row of seats that lined it, one with a large amount of blood over it. I was busy in my observations and didn't notice that someone had walked into the room until I heard a deep voice "Your awake? How are you feeling?" The really gorgeous guy asked. He was possibly the most beautiful man I had ever seen. He had dark brown hair cut short and slicked back by the slightest amount of gel. Beautiful brown eyes that reminded me of warm chocolate. He had a hard set jaw with some overnight scruff. My eyes slid down to his impossibly wide shoulders hid under an old jacket. A tight long sleeve black cotton V-neck shirt conformed to tight muscles that slightly flexed under my gaze. My eyes trailed down a thin athletic waist to thighs covered in black jeans. I tried to sit up but winced at the pain that shot through my midsection. In an instance he was kneeling beside me with my head in his big hands. My eyes connected to those unbelievable brown eyes and I was instantly captured. His soothing voice slipped into my sensitive ears "Don't move. You need to lye still and rest." Yeah, he pretended like my whole eye banging him didn't happen. It took every ounce of my will power not to reach out and grab him by the back of the neck to mash my lips to his full ones. I needed to be closer to him, to my love "Do you remember your name?" He asked velvety smooth. My eyes glazed over as went to reply "Dria. My name is Adria." I told him as I began to remember the events from earlier. Those delicious lips curved ever so slightly upward. His eyes still hadn't left mine. "Do you remember me?" He asked me curiously "My Bellamy." I said realizing I said my afterwards "You saved me." I said confused as I melted inside. Oh Yea! I was falling for this romantic fairy tale bull the shining knight coming to the damsels rescue, again. I wanted nothing more to kiss him. In a minute I'd be drooling over him. Then it dawned on me. I wasn't wearing clothes. Nothing but a thin sheet. I tried grabbing at the sheet pulling it tighter around me. Eyes still locked to his. Gently I felt a hand come up to mine and tug it back so that I was no longer grasping at the thin white sheet. He broke eye contact with me and laid my head down on the jackets, his gaze roaming over my face, down my neck, and to my chest. His smirk turned into a devilish grin. He traced one hand down my side over the sheet and started to lift it when I smacked his hand. I didn't want him to see all of my scars from my time with Marko, but seeing ask they covered most of my back and body they were hard to hide. He didn't flinch only stopped to turn and give me a chuckle. He started lifting the sheet slowly up and sliding it out of his way over my flat tummy, making sure that all goodies were still covered. I looked away expecting him to squirm away from my ugly scars. He ever so lightly traced over my scars, surprising me, I looked back at him. His eyes were full of sadness and anger at the same time "Beautiful" he whispered as he leaned over and brushed his lips against one of my larger scars on the side of my ribs. My eyes filled with water and I quietly thanked God that I had Bellamy in my life, that I found him after so many months away from him.

He rolled me slightly to my left side so that he could inspect my wound. He removed the bandage that I hadn't realized I had been wearing and I winced when he grazed a finger over my sensitive side. It was then that I remembered I had been shot, I remembered waking up, the escape, falling down. I was worried, I had so many questions yet I remained quiet.

I looked at his face watching as a contemplative look crossed those gorgeous features. One eye brow lifted, his lips pierced together. When he furrowed his brows together I knew something was wrong. "What? What is it? Am I okay? I'm not gonna have like some big gaping hole in my side am I?" I questioned in a panicked voice. And for the first time since he stepped up to cradle my head in his hand he spoke. His voice amused with my sudden interest in myself. "No. No I don't think you're going to have a gaping anything." He mocked. I sighed and relaxed. But then I realized there was more to his answer and for the first time since I woke I dared a glance at my side. There was a small gash that had been sewn shut where a bullet had once been. I laid there with my butt cheek hanging out tracing a finger over the semi healed wound. I healed faster than a normal person thanks to my injections but this was going to take another few days before it would be nothing but a faint scar that would blend in with the others. I winched as my finger grazed the wires that held my skin together. I felt the weight of his gaze staring at me from under thick lashes. I could feel his agitation and curiosity start bloom. I didn't dare open up my walls to him. I know I would be doomed if I did so. I decided to go with distracting his attention from my side. I rolled over onto my left side and began to push up holding the sheet behind me as I did. He leaned down and wrapped his hands around my shoulders pulling me up in one swift motion. My back still turned to him I brought the sheet around my front and tucked it into the other side so it wouldn't fall. I slowly began to turn to him when he stopped me. I froze in mid turn. But his hands never left my shoulders. I felt the heat of his touch on my silky skin. It didn't take long before that heat was traveling down my spine and spreading right to my nether regions. This is insane! I mentally chastised myself. I've never reacted to any man this way before but as soon as I touched Bellamy Blake I nearly exploded with lust. And all of a sudden I felt like a dog in heat! I felt his hand trace a path down my back mimicking my curves, I could feel the desire pouring out of him. I felt myself start to lean back into his intimate sketching. My head hit something hard as I let it fall back. I could hear his deep breaths carefully being planned out in his chest. His left arm snaked around my left side and started tracing my belly. My whole body was on fire as he explored my dips and curves. I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't think. The hand that had been tracing my back came up to twin in my long black hair. He gently tugged my head to the right so my throat was exposed. I could feel my eyes start to glaze over and my breathing started to hasten. I felt my heart try to pound out of my chest. I felt something warm and wet press to the crevice of my neck where it met my shoulder. When I winched away from his kiss I could feel his frustration. I loved Bellamy, but I couldn't bare the feeling of his hands on me, or the sound of him breathing close to me it only made me remember all that Marko had some to me in the past year of my imprisonment. "Please don't." I said as I pulled away from him "Bell I can't. Not yet." I added and he nodded to me. I could tell he understood why, "Everything's happening so fast right now." I said quietly as I took his hand and kissed it "Give me time." I promised as I pressed his palm to my cheek and held it there "Do you remember how we got here?" He wondered and I frowned sadly as he brushed my cheek with his thumb. I pulled away from his hand and looked up into his eyes, confusion etched into my features. "You were really out the whole ride down?" He questioned raising his eyebrows. Down? Where the hell were we? "Ride down?" I asked annoyed at his vagueness. "What do you remember?" He asked me "I remember the air lock." I began "I remember shooting the Chancellor. I remember running, falling. I was hit with something, I was bleeding badly..." I trialed off not knowing the rest of the story "The Chancellor planned to have all one hundred members of the Sky Box sent down to earth the day of your execution. After you were hit I carried you to the drop ship." He told me "You were awake for a few minutes on the ride down but you were delirious. We got down here and this girl helped me fix you up..." He trailed off and I knew there was more to the story "What else happened, Bell?" I asked him worried "Nothing." He tried to brush it off "Bellamy Rowan Blake, I can tell when you're not telling the whole story, I know you to well." I warned him "Okay. Well, when we were fixing you up... your heart stopped beating." He said rather quickly "I died?" I said shocked "Only for three minutes, the girl shocked you with some wires and your heart started beating again. She saved your life, Adria." He tried to tell me. "Okay... I'm alive now I guess." I said trying to keep calm. "And now were here." He smiled as he handed me clothes. Without a thought I slid them on. Long back skinny jeans, a black V-neck, a black jacket, and some black combat boots. They were simply yet useful and durable clothing. Bellamy opened the air lock on the floor to show a ladder. I climbed down quickly but carefully not to tear my stitches. I got to the bottom and turned away from a blinding light. Bellamy dropped down behind me smiling at my reaction to everything. "Welcome to earth, Adria." He smirked into my ear before kissing my temple. I took a cautious step forward before jumping into the dirt wasting no time to lean down tangling my fingers in the grass protruding out in different directions. I take a breath in amazed the smell surrounding me. People run around me enjoying the fresh air. Fresh air. I never thought I would live to breathe it in but here I am, literally frolicking in the forest. I laughed in excitement before turning back to Bellamy "Why are we here?" I asked him standing from my previously crouched position. "Are you complaining?" He asked grinning at me. If I had stayed on the Ark I'd be dead, I was very thankful to be here "Not at all!" I laughed still electrified from this experience. "I feel like this is a dream. I feel like I'm about to wake up in a cell labeled Prisoner six two seven again." I sighed running a hand through my long thigh length hair. "Well it's real so enjoy the freedom." He said and I smile "It's so..." I started at a loss for words "Awesome?" He said raising his eyebrows at me. "Warm." I corrected letting the sun dance across my face. On the Ark I had always stood by the windows wondering what it would feel like to have the sun's rays against my skin, unchanged by the thick Plexiglas that kept us inside. I quickly turned back to face him, his smile thawed my heart. I ran into his arms, wrapping mine around his neck and twisting my fingers in his curly hair. He snaked his toned arms around the small of my back and pulled me closer to his chest. I laid my head on his shoulder, nuzzling into his tan neck "Do you know what this means?" I asked him as he held me close "What?" He wondered "We're free." I said with hope "We're no longer tied to our past mistakes, Bell. We have a fresh start here." I told him, taking in his scent with extreme precision. "No more hiding." He whispered into my hair. I snuggled into him and for the first time in forever I felt free. I felt his hand snake farther down, closer and closer to my backside. I pulled away a little and frowned "I want to start over, Bell. But you have to give me some time before I'm back to normal, that's all I ask." I told him slowly, carefully reminding him of the year I spent as a hostage. I wanted to be with him, I wanted it to be like it was before, but I was going to need time before I was back to the girl he loved. Bellamy leaned down, slowly, and kissed my fore head "Take all the time you need, Dria." He said softy using the nickname he have me as a child. I was excited though, no more looking over my shoulder for the guards or Marko, no more hiding Octavia and her secrets, and no Chancellor to come after me. That's when it dawned on me, the Chancellor. I pulled back as I remembered what we did "What is it?" He asked me worried "There planning to bring the people from the Ark down." I told him seriously "So we'll go, there's a whole world out there we can go anywhere." He tried to tell me "No, Bell. They know what we did, they will come after us." I panicked. Bellamy took in what I was trying to tell him and his smile faded away. "Then we will make sure they don't come down." He said coldly. "I will keep you safe, I promise." He assured me as he pulled me close to his chest once more. "We will keep each other safe." I added as I held him tighter.
