All I can hear is crying.
Babies are hard work.

I get out of bed softly and slip into my sweatpants, heading out the bedroom door and trying to rub a little bit of sleep out of my eyes.

I walk in to see Silena crying and I pick her up, sniff, she's good, and I rock her gently in my arms and a sleepy smile spreads across my face as I watch her fall back to sleep. As I set her back into her crib, gently, I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and I lean back into the chest attached, knowing it's Percy. I feel as he shifts to lean his head on my shoulder and we stand there for a few minutes, swaying side to side, watching as Silena sleep peacefully.

"Hey, wise girl," Percy whispers on my ear.

"Hm," I hum in response.

"Let's go back to bed, I'm sleepy."

"Okay," I whisper back and break away from his grasp to start heading back to the bedroom. Of course, I can't go on my own, because Percy picks me up bridle style, but I'm not objecting because I'm tired, and he plunks me down on our bed and I crawl under the covers.

I feel him climb into bed next to me, and wrap his arm around me, effectively pulling me closer I might add. I sigh and turn around in his arms, kissing him softly before drifting back off into sleep.

The next morning I open my eyes and see Percy is still right beside me, I smile and turn over to look at the clock on my nightstand and it says nine-thirty, I pull the covers off me and gently slide out of bed, careful not to wake Percy, and walk over to Silena's room to see that she is sitting up and smiling.

"Hi, baby girl," I cooed. "Were you waiting for mommy?"

She giggled in response and raised her arms, moving her little fingers. I laughed and picked her up, leaving little kisses all around her face. She giggled and tried to give back what I assume was a kiss, and her not trying to eat my face.

I adjusted her on my hip and walked down the stairs to the kitchen, where I sat little Silena in her high chair and made breakfast. I gave her some mushed peaches- baby food. As I sat down to eat my breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast, Percy came down the stairs - looking quite godlike - and kissed my cheek before getting some of his own food and sitting down to eat with me.

"Did you sleep good last night, babe?"

"Mhm," he responded. "You?"

"I slept pretty good, yeah," I said.

"Any plans today?" I asked him.

He shook his head no in response and kept eating.

"Hungry much?" I laughed and he smiled up at me

"Not at all," he winked and I laughed a little more.

When we were done eating I rinsed the dishes and pulled Silena out of her high-chair and into the little play area we have for her in the living room.

"I was thinking of maybe asking Piper and Jason if they wanted to go to a water park or something today, how does that sound?"

His eyes lit up at Waterpark and immediately nodded yes, he looked like an excited child - adorable.

I called Piper and asked her about going to the slip n' slide Waterpark we have near our house and she eagerly agreed. I called a babysitter for Silena and we were ready and off in a matter if no time.

"Long time no-see friend! How are you Annabeth?" Piper asked me.

"I'm good, Silena's been a little bit of a handful but she's not too bad." I told her.

"That's good," she gave me a smile and I reciprocated the action.

"How are thing between you and Jason?" I asked her.

"We're good, a little tired sometimes but good."

"That's good," I told her.

"Mhm." She hummed.

"There it is!" I heard Percy yell from the back, and I sighed and smiled, shaking my head. He could be such a child sometimes. I parked the car and we all jumped out, Piper and I grabbing our bags and throwing the boys their towels, we walked over and found a couple chairs in the sun and we sat back, watching as our husbands ran off in a childlike manner to the tallest slide first.

"I swear," I said to Piper. "They can be such children."

"Don't I know it," Piper said and smiled at me.

"Ohh, yeah," I laughed.

"Do we really need to sit in the sun?" She questioned.

"I mean, not that I don't love tanning, but aren't we already tan enough?" She finished.

I skimmed our bodies and the looked over to see two chairs in the shade. I started to gather our stuff and walk over there, "No, I guess we don't really need to tan anymore, do we?"

She laughed, "I really don't think we do." She grabbed the rest of our stuff and sat it next to her chair, slipping her sunglasses to the top of her head, as I did the same. I scanned the scene to see Percy and Jason in line for one of the tallest rides and seeing Percy smile that adorable smile he gets when he's excited.

I pointed them out to Piper and she laughed as she watched Jason make an exasperated hand gesture to Percy to try and get him to calm down. I pulled out my smartphone and took a picture of them in line and smiled as I handed the phone to Piper for her to look at it. She smiled and shook her head, giving me back the phone.

"Please!" Begged Percy as he pulled on my forearm. "Please go on one ride with me!"

"Fine..." I told him and looked back to Piper giving me a sympathetic smile as I walked off with Percy, while I wasn't paying attention he scooped me up bridle style and started carrying me.

"Perseus Jackson!" I laughed and punched his chest. "Put me down, you seaweed brain!"

"Ow," he said with a grin as he shifted me in his arms. "That really hurt wise girl."

"I'll make it hurt more if you don't put me down gods dang it," I muttered

He slowly slid me out of his arms, and as I was about to start walking he grabbed my hand and twirled me around, sneaking a kiss onto my cheek. I felt my face heat up and he smirked at me, the same troublemaker smile from when we were kids. I felt like I was falling in love all over again.

"You little-" I made a strangling gesture with my hands and laughed.

"Now, now Annie-"

"Don't call me Annie."

"Don't be bitter," he finished and grabbed my hand, pulling me with him to a water slide, one of those where you go down in a raft, facing each other and we went back and forth, we were both laughing.

It was a good day
