"Bard! Bard!"

You screamed until you couldn't feel your lungs anymore. You screamed until tears rolled from your eyes in an uncontrollable way.

"BARD!!"

Where the hell was he? Why couldn't you find him anywhere? You thought that coming along with him to Mirkwood was a great idea.

Now you were filled with regret.

Bard had been loading empty barrels onto his boat and you had been sitting in the grass watching him.

Then a little fluffy white tale had caught your eye. You ran after the bunny and into the woods, the child within you happy to present itself.

But now you were lost.

Good job you.

You sat on the ground in a mossy patch of Earth, crying out Bard's name and hoping to god that he would hear you.

After sitting and crying and worrying yourself half to death, you heard branches behind you cracking.

With a jolt, you were on your feet, prepared to flight or fight. But Bard pushed through the trees and into your line of sight.

You let out a cry so happy you thought you would burst and without a second thought you ran into his arms, clinging to him like he was a life line.

All Bard could do was laugh as he carried you back to the boat, relentlessly teasing you for your childlike foolishness.

You simply clung to him for dear life, refusing to let go.
