Sorry if this one is sad... The settings on this are kinda weird by the way but just try and roll with it- ALSO! Thorin did not die in this one- okay? Okay.

His hair made you think of the forest. Like the deep dark wood of the pine trees that made you remember what it felt like to be free. His smile. It was rare. Like the full moon that would dot through the murky twilight of the world. But it was a rare smile. A smile worth the wait in the end...

You thought all of this in silence as you made patterns on the ground with the blood that rolled down your pale shaking arms... Breathing was a chore now, and each breath came raggedly, with a sort of twisted labor. He had taken you. The White Orc. The night you traveled through the forest, the whole wide world seeming to hunt you down. As the Dwarves hopped to the trees, you tried to scramble up, but your little body just wasn't fast enough. The Warg dragged you by the legs over to the White Orc as you screamed out Thorin's name, writing around like a lamb about to be slaughtered.

Of course he tried to save you. Thorin... And his eyes filled with that fierce sort of rage.  He stood for you and faced the beats as you kicked and rolled and fought. But you were not able to be free. And you watched in horror as one of the Wargs grabbed your lover in its sharp teeth.

You screamed even more, but one of the filthy rats knocked you out and you drifted off into darkness.

                   -----------------------

When you woke up again you were sore and every mussel in your body ached with pain. Your ankles were shackled to a wall, and your fragile frame covered in deep wounds. Everyday for days on end one of the Orc's would come and ask you questions, trying to gain information about the Company from you. And you would never say a single word. They would beat you and starve you and break you down.

This night what they had done to you was worse as they had wiped your back with a sharp whip. You sat in silence, using your own blood to create art on the cold stone floor.

But one day something caught your attention. Silence. Silence filled the stone place in which you were chained. Then, the voice of Gandalf filled the quiet. Without a single thought, you open your mouth and screamed.

"GANDALF!"

There was silence for a moment, then he was there, freeing you from your chains and telling you to run. He said his horse was outside... He told you where the Company was... And he confirmed that Thorin was indeed alive. And you ran. You ran and jumped onto the horse. And you were free again...

                  ----------------------

Gandalf, being the wizard that he was, managed to escape with you and get on the horse, galloping it away from your once prison. You felt so weak and tired as you held onto Gandalf so that you wouldn't fall off of the horse. Your bones were achy and sore and the whiplashes in your back were still bleeding and they seared with pain with each step of the horse.

You and Gandalf covered ground fast, but the ride was wearing out all that was left of you. You felt as if you could feel your back ripping apart. Blood soaked through your clothing and dripped onto the white fur of the horse.

But soon you could see the sun on the horizon, and the soft billows of smoke as they rose from a capture not all that far off in the distance. You heard Gandalf mutter something to you, pushing his horse to move a little faster.

"Hang on little one..."

And you somehow managed to stay awake and keep your eyes open. As Gandalf galloped closer to the fire, you heard one of the Dwarves call out;

"Everyone wake up! Gandalf has returned!"

Then the horse jolted to a stop. Gandalf slipped from its white back and your head lolled forward lazily, the stickiness of the blood that covered you making you feel disgusting. You could hear the clamor of the Company around you and Gandalf, but then one voice to you stuck out.

"Y/N...!"

Thorin ran up to the horse, reaching up and gently pulling you down from its back, his large arms enveloping you in his comforting embrace. You cried out softy in pain and you forced your eyes open to look into his. His beautiful eyes...

"Y/N... I thought you were gone forever... I thought you were gone forever..."

He didn't even try to hide the relief and fear in his voice... He was so glad to see you.

"Yeah... I saw the Warg... It got you... Don't you ever..." Your sentence was interrupted by a fit of vicious coughing and your eyes fluttered closed for a second. "...Do that again...."

You finished your sentence, going weak in his arms. You felt Thorin's lips meet yours and then everything went dark.

                  -------------------

"Y/N... Y/N... Wake up... Please... Lover...?"

Thorin's voice was soft and gentle as you felt the scruff of his beard brush lightly against your cheek and ear. You twitched slightly, scrunching up your nose and whining.

"I don't want to wake up...." You muttered, your hand managing to find his face and then move to tangle in his curls. Thorin chuckled softly... That deep sort of chuckle that made your heart warm. You huffed and turned your face slightly to nuzzle into the crook of Thorin's neck, your eyelashes fluttering against his skin. You could feel his warm body pressed up against you, his arms snaked around you... Everything was so calm... And you could hear the gentle chirping of birds from where you were.

You sighed softly then frowned ever so slightly, pulling back to look at Thorin. He had had his eyes closed, but when you pulled back, he opened them to look at you.

"Thorin...? Where are we...?"

Thorin smiled even so slightly, moving his hand toy brush over your cheek.

"We're safe... The war is over... And Erebor is ours."

With those words he captured your lips in his and pulled you closer to himself, letting you know that you would never again leave his side.

So I'm sorry I basically had you bedridden through tall of the Battle of Five Armies in this book but idk??

Was it okay???
