When Vin woke the next morning, Callum was gone.
He lay in bed for a few minutes, reliving the previous night, before he reluctantly got up. He had a quick shower, dressed, and went downstairs to find Callum making breakfast.
Callum smiled shyly at him when he came in, and handed him a plate of waffles, eggs and bacon.
They ate in an awkward silence.
As Callum stood to take away the empty plates, Vin grabbed the boy and pulled him down onto his lap.
"What's the matter?" He asked softly. "Is it... last night? You regret it?"
"No." Said Callum quickly. "Not at all. I just... what happened last night, I've been dreaming about something like that for weeks now. And I thought when it happened I would... I thought I'd feel different, afterwards."
"How do you mean?"
"Remember what I was saying when I first moved in? About how I felt like I've lost my identity?"
Vin nodded slowly.
"Well, I thought that once I let someone get close to me, once I felt this way about someone... I thought that would help me 'rediscover who I am', or something like that."
"Finding your identity doesn't come from having sex," said Vin slowly. "It comes from... I don't know. Finding out something about yourself that you never realised before."
Callum was quiet for a while. "I always thought I knew myself pretty well. I mean, I hate big crowds, I can't stand Paul O’Grady, I love minstrels and snickers bars."
"They're quirks," said Vin. "Lots of people hate big crowds. Your identity... I don't know how to help you find that, I'm afraid. I think it's just something you have to find yourself."
Callum sighed and settled his head against Vin's chest.
Vin wrapped his arms around Callum's torso and hugged him close.
They sat like that for a while, before Callum shifted.
"I should put the plates away." He mumbled.
"Or, you could not." Said Vin, grinning.
When Callum looked up at him, he captured the boys' lips in a soft kiss.
Callum returned it for a moment, before he drew back, smiling. "So that's how this is going to work, is it? Every time I hug you we have sex?"
Vin shrugged, grinning.
"Well, news for you pal, it was just a hug." Callum got up and quickly collected the empty plates before Vin could pull him back down.
Vin followed Callum into the kitchen and dried the plates as Callum washed them. As he put the last plate in the cupboard, he felt Callum's arms slide around his waist and pull him close.
Callum's lips kissed the back of Vin's neck, before he gently bit down.
Vin closed his eyes and pushed back against Callum's body.
Callum's hands slid slowly under Vin's shirt and began twisting his nipples.
Vin growled softly, and turned to face Callum.
Callum's arms wrapped around Vin's waist and pulled him in for a kiss.
Vin trailed his lips slowly over Callum's neck, gently nipping the warm skin.
Callum moaned softly against him.
"Run and get the Vaseline," Vin whispered in Callum's ear. "It's on my bedside table."
"Why don't we just go upstairs?"
"Why don't we just stay here?" Vin answered.
Callum drew back with a grin, before he darted upstairs.
Vin gathered the smaller boy into his arms as soon as he returned, and lifted him up onto the work surface.
Callum dipped his head down for a passionate kiss, before he drew back and pulled off his shirt.
Vin quickly removed his own, and their trousers and boxers soon followed. Vin dipped his fingers in the Vaseline and quickly prepared Callum, before he slicked his length and began pushing in.
Callum groaned softly and pushed back against Vin, until Vinny's entire length was inside him. Callum wrapped his legs around Vin's waist and began to move his hips in time with Vin's increasingly hard thrusts. Callum wrapped his arms around Vin's neck and kissed him; their tongues slid wetly together as Vin continued to move.
