The three entered their teen years yet it seems nothing has changed, only that their friendship grew even deeper and each of them have matured in some way.
Like as they were children, Yael is still very open with his feelings to Karylle. Determined to make her fall for him though Karylle has gotten used to it. He's also starting to get intrested in music. At times, he tends to forget about his studies. However, Vice would always reprimand him to study.

While in the car on their way to school.
Yael's POV:
"Yes! At last freshman na ko. I'd get to be with K and Kuya again. This would be great! And baka pwede ko na ring itake to the next level yung panliligaw ko kay K since we're in High School na. "
His trail of thoughts was abruptly disrupted when he heard Vice's outburst of laughter.
Vice: HAHAHAHAHAHA
Yael: *confusedly stared at Vice* Why are you laughing? You look crazy.
Vice: haha. am I the one who looks crazy? nakakatawa kasi yang muka mo eh. Tulala ka tapos..tapos nakangiti ka pa, para kang..
Yael: shut up! *Punches Vice on the arm* Basag trip ka naman eh!! Im just excited ok? Makakasama ko na ulit kayo ni K. What's so wrong with that?
Vice: Ayan! Jan ka magaling ehh.. Makakasama daw kami ni K?! eh alam ko namang si K lang gusto mong makasama! Hoy Ysmael, High School ka na ah. Umayos ka or else pektus ka sakin. At tigilan mo na yang panliligaw mo kay Karylle, parang ate mo na yun.
Yael: First off, Kuya, it's Yael. Second, relax ok? kayang kaya ko to. Ako pa, I'm awesome! and third, you know naman since we were young nililigawan ko na si K, ngayon pa ba ko titigil kung kelan high school na ko?
some days pag may free time bigla nalang siyang pupunta sa may Classroom ni K and play his guitar or just spend time there with K and her classmates.
Yael: *Singing with his guitar*

I'd still be the luckiest guy here with you . . ♬♬
*Sees the next teacher coming*
