"It's Valentine's Day on Thursday but right now, I have the theme and our competition for Regionals." Will says to the Glee Club on a Monday.
The Glee Club are all scattered around the choir room. Finn is sitting at the drum kit with Rachel on his lap, holding the drum sticks while half the club are standing around either holding hands with their girlfriend/boyfriend or casually standing alone and the rest are sitting through out the seats.
"Drum roll please, Rachel." Will says.
Rachel uses Finn's drum sticks to do the drum roll.
"The theme is," Will unfolds the letter, "Pain, break ups and regrets. And our competition is the Hoosierdaddies from North Central High School in Indianapolis and the Warblers from Dalton Academy in Westerville, Ohio."
"Ugh, the Warblers." Puck says.
"What's wrong with the Warblers?" Marley asks.
"They cheated last year. Their leader, Hunter Clarington was giving them drugs to do all these flips and shit. They bet us at Sectionals last year but thanks to Blaine and Sam, they were disqualified and we went through to the next round." Quinn explains.
"Oh wow." Mercedes says.
Blaine and Sam hi-five and say, "Blam!" 
"I have a couple of ideas for this theme. What about we have, Finn, Rachel, Brittany, Santana, Kurt, Blaine, Jake and Marley singing Coldplay's The Scientist and then we'll have Sam and Ryder singing You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' by The Righteous Brothers." Will says.
"Awesome." Sam says, hi-fiving Ryder.
"Let's get practicing." Will says.

Sam sits on a stool in the choir room with his guitar the next day in Glee Club. Brittany sits on the stool next to him.
"What are you two planning to do?" Will asks, as he enters the choir room with the rest of the Glee Club.
"Well, since it's Tuesday and on Thursday it's Valentine's Day, Britt and I want to sing to a song to our girlfriends." Sam explains.
"Okay, take it away Sam and Brittany." Will says, starting off a light clap.
Sam starts to play with back up from the band.

The New Directions begin to sing back up while Santana and Brittany's eyes are locked on each others. It's the same with Sam and Mercedes.
