Alexa's POV

I watched them all get on the bikes, while I was standing there, frozen. It wasn't just that I was scared of bikes, it was the fact that I was supposed to be on that thing with the biggest trouble maker in town. That's at least what I heard about him. Maybe I would feel more safe if I was with Jace, but how was I supposed to say that in front of everyone. All kinds of bad thoughts went trough my head in just a second.

Then I saw Tyler handing me one of the helmets. I knew one of the guys were setting off, cause I heard that loud noise coming from behind me. Jessica and Trevor were now gone, and right after them, so were all the others. It was just me and Tyler now, but I don't think he noticed me standing there frozen, cause he was putting something inside the seat.

He turned around and laughed a little. " What's wrong? You scared? " He asked, while leaning on the bike slowly. His voice was so deep, and sounded so damn hot. I felt chills going down my spine when I heard him talk. But no Alex, don't think like that!

I took a deep breath before I started talking. " Is there any other way of getting there, possibly without dying? " I asked, while raising my eyebrows, making a hopeful face.

" We can walk. It's just about 2 miles away. " He sneered. I took another look of the motorcycle. It was a big black racing bike, probably really fast. I took another deep breath, and started biting my lip nervously. He was leaning on the bike, with his hands in his pockets, giving me the time to think trough my "decision". Like I had a choice.

I still had the helmet in my hands, so I guess that little thing was supposed to keep me from dying. I wanted to put it on, but Jeez how does this thing work? I struggled with the helmet for a few seconds, when I saw Tyler walking towards me. We were now less than a feet away from each other.

" Here, let me help. " He said, while slowly taking the helmet away from my hands. I crossed my arms on my chest, watching him undo those hundreds of little belts.

After a minute, he looked at me, offering a cute smile, and than walked even closer to me. My heart started beating faster, while I felt my warm blood running trough my veins, making my hands nervously cold. I was playing with my fingers, trying not to look at him, as I felt him staring at me. I lifted my head a bit, now looking at him. And then...I felt him put the cold helmet on my head. Oh...

I felt my cheeks heat up from embarrassment, and even though I didn't say anything, I felt stupid for feeling like that. Why the hell did I feel like that? I felt him touching my hair, which was probably because it was in the way, and then he turned around, sat on his bike, and put his helmet on.

Having a helmet on your head felt weird. My head felt heavy, and I could barely hear. I walked slowly towards the bike, and stopped for a second. How am I supposed to get on this thing, in a dress and heels? But I didn't say anything, and just went along with it. I sat on the bike, behind Tyler, and looking at the road made me think that this was maybe the last thing I'll do. I was about to ride on this dying machine, with the bad boy of the town.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sudden buzzing beneath my feet, and the same annoying sound as before. I wrapped my both arms around his waist, feeling my heart beat faster and faster every second. There was no space between us, but that was the least problem right now. I was holding him tight , as I heard him letting out a little laugh.

He didn't bother to take a slow start. Before I even knew it, we were on the road, going faster than all of the cars that were on the road that night. I closed my eyes, leaning my head on his back. The only thing I felt, was the wind in my hair, as I heard all the cars we were passing. I was too scared to open my eyes and witness my death scene.

After about 10 minutes, I felt him slow down a bit. I was still too scared to open my eyes, so I didn't know why we were slowing down.

" OK, you can let go now." Tyler said quietly. I peeked with on eye, carefully, making sure we weren't on the road anymore, and then slowly opened both of them. We were on a parking lot. I probably lost track of time, cause that felt like just a few minutes.

I let Tyler go, as he got up from the bike, taking his helmet off. That reminded me that I have a helmet on my head too, so I started taking it off, while getting off the bike. It felt as such a relief. After I stepped on the ground, I still felt my feet buzz, and my legs were now shaking. Looking around, I noticed that the parking was full of cars, and saw a lot of people waiting in line in front of a small building. There was a huge purple sign glowing and sparkling, and I could hear a loud techno music coming from inside. A night club? Really?

" Umm, where are the others? " I asked, turning around, now facing him.

" We passed them back on the road. They'll be here any minute." He said, walking towards the bike. We passed them? How fast were we going? I still couldn't feel my legs from all the buzzing, so I leaned my back on one of the cars near the bike. Tyler was now right across from me, next to his bike.

" So, what's inside the seat? " I asked quietly, trying to make a conversation.

" How did you know there was something in the seat? " He said, confused.

" I felt it bang this whole time... And I saw you putting something inside, before we left." I explained. He chuckled when he heard me say that " I felt it bang" , but I had the feeling that I didn't wanna know why.

He crossed his arms, and went on, still laughing a little. " It's just a little surprise for the party later."

" Really? What is it? " I asked, curiously, like a little kid.

" Well, it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, would it? " He was almost interrupted by the loud sound of motorcycles. I was pretty sure that were Jace with Liv, and a few seconds later, the others.

After they all parked and got off, Liv practically ran towards me, trying to say something, but Tyler interrupted her, asking if we were all ready to go inside.

In front of the door, was standing a bouncer, dressed in a black suit, checking everyone's ID before they got in. The fifty or so teenagers in line outside the Eclipse Club, or at least I thought it was called, were leaned forward to eavesdrop. It was a long wait to get into the all-ages club, especially on a Friday night, and not as much generally happened in lines.

~

It has been probably an hour since we got in, and ordered our drinks. Inside, the club was full of dry-ice smoke. Colored lights played over the dance floor, turning into a multicolored fairyland of blues and acid greens, hot pinks and golds. The music was loud, making my throat buzz. I was sitting on one of the bar chairs, with an untouched drink in my hand. I watched Liv and Jessica pull their best moves on the dance floor, having the night of their lives. Gina and Max were probably in some corner making out, cause it turns out they're a item, and Tyler and Trevor were lost somewhere in the enormous crowd. It was 9:30 pm. The party was just getting started, and I was the only one who wasn't having fun, literally.

After the pour conversation with the bartender, my ears started buzzing from the crazy loud trance music, so I decided I needed some air. I headed towards the door, but I had to get trough the crowd first. They were all dancing, or what passed for it- a lot of swaying back and forth with occasional lunges toward the floor as if one of them had dropped a contact lens- in a space between a group of teenage boys in metallic corsets, and a young Asian couple making out passionately. A boy with a lip piercing and a weird backpack was holding out free tablets of "herbal ecstasy", with other name, drugs. I wasn't paying much attention to the immediate surroundings. My eyes were on the door, as I was giving my best to get trough without being punched, or humped by some drunk teenager.

I managed my way trough all the weirdos, and pushed the heavy door open. I was now at the back entrance, as I closed my eyes, deeply inhaling the cold air. Opening my eyes, I saw a muscular back, a guy in a leather jacket. I knew it was Tyler, cause after that bike ride, I could recognize that back anywhere. He turned around a little, watching me walk towards him.

" Boring, isn't it? " He asked, holding a cigarette, as he exhaled the dense smoke. The fact that he was smoking, didn't surprise me.

" No, just needed some fresh air. " I lied, crossing my arms, now standing next to him.

" As fresh as it can get.." He mumbled, gesturing with the hand he was holding his cigarette with.

" I don't mind the smoke. " I said back to him, still taking deep breaths. I felt his stare, but I tried my best not to look at him. He was just too distracting...

" That's exactly what a smoker would say." He said with that deep voice of his.

I raised one of my eyebrows, annoyed from the fact that he thinks he knows everything. " Well, I don't smoke." I gave a simple replay, now looking at him.

Not taking his eyes off me, he took another smoke, looking dead serious, unlike before. Without saying a word, he suddenly walked over, leaving a very little space between us. I got scared, not knowing what he wanted. He threw his cigarette away, and touched my hair, putting it away from my face. We were now close, maybe too close to each other. My heart was trying to escape my chest, while I had a weird feeling in my stomach. I didn't take my eyes off his, I couldn't. I saw him slowly exhaling the smoke, that made me feel like I was in some kind of a trance. The air between us was now nothing but smoke. But I didn't mind it. I took one deep breath, at the same time inhaling the thick smoke. I felt his hand on my cheek, slowly going down my jawline. I was already lost in his eyes, feeling nothing but his touch.

In one sudden move, Tyler had crossed the space between us, crashing his lips on mine. I didn't think much, just responded within seconds. I felt all kinds of different emotions mixed together, making me confused, but at the same time, I felt like all the clocks in the world have stopped. It was just the two of us. He was kissing me with so much passion, hunger and lust, like there's no tomorrow.

In a moment, I realized what I was doing. I met this guy, and an hour later, I was making out with him behind a night club. That wasn't me. I had to stop myself, I wasn't thinking clearly. I pushed away from him slightly, startling him. He stared back at me with wide, confused eyes. I had no idea what I was supposed to say. I formed a thick line with my lips, feeling my lipstick smeared all around them. We were both staring at each other, taking deep breaths, still reaching for air.

My hands were ice cold, and I felt my cheeks heat up with embarrassment. I felt so awkward and stupid for letting myself into this. I had to get away from him, cause just looking at his eyes, was making my head blurry, not letting me think straight. I walked past him, fast, trying not to look at him. I was walking towards the front parking lot, feeling like an idiot for not stopping it before. I leaned on the wall, going trough that same moment in my head, over and over again. I knew what he was thinking. He thought I was easy to get, and I didn't prove him wrong.
