You stood in front of your body mirror in only your (f/c) bra and undies. You grabbed at the extra fat on your tummy and thighs, sighing.

"Schauen Sie, wie hässlich du bist, Y/N. Warum habe du so fett zu sein?" You whispered in German, messing with your hair.

(Translation: Look how ugly you are Y/N. Why do you have to be so fat?)

You had always been very self conscious ever since you were born. You were born into a household to where both of your siblings were as skinny as twigs no matter what they ate. Being the idiot he was, your father fed you if you were happy, sad, angry, or even when you were not hungry. Because of him, you ate your feelings all the time. As you grew older and went to high school, it became worse and worse. Maybe it was the stress of learning German or the judgmental aura of your school that got you eating more than usual, you didn't remember. Since then, you've started to eat less but sometimes you would get these urges that would make you consume food like a vacuum.

"Y/N, are you in there?" You heard your boyfriend, Bruce, ask from outside your door. You opened the door, only letting your head poke out.

"Yes. What's up?" You answered, looking into his sweet brown eyes.

"I bought some Chinese take-out for dinner. Come to the dining room when you're ready." He stated, giving you a small kiss on the cheek. You blushed, closing the door behind you. All of the other Avengers were on a mission for a couple of days, so you two had the whole tower to yourselfs.

You played with the food on your plate, not feeling very hungry at all. Bruce sat right next to you, his hand on your thigh.

"Y/N? Why aren't you eating? I bought your favorite." He questioned, rubbing your thigh softly.

"I'm not very hungry right now babe." You replied, placing your hand on top of his. You could see a hint of sadness in his eyes, making your heart melt.

"Please don't be like that, sweetheart. You haven't been hungry for the past 5 days, and I'm running out of room in the fridge for leftovers. Please, just eat something." He frowned, pushing your plate closer to you. You didn't want to, but you wanted to make Bruce happy. You grabbed your fork and stabbed at your chicken, taking a bite. Bruce smiled, making you blush a light pink.

~Time skip brought to you by Thor trying to get on an escalator~

You ended up eating all of your dinner, since it was so good. Bruce brought you back to your room, laying in bed with you.

"Bruce? How do you love me?"

"What do you mean, Y/N?" He wondered, pulling you closer.

"I mean, I'm the fattest person In the world! And I'm always waking up in the middle of the night, going into the kitchen, and eating more and more! I even wonder how anybody loves me!" You yelled, tears rolling down your face. You scooted away from him, curling up into a small ball.

"Y/N, darling. I love you because you are so fluffy and that makes you the best snuggle buddy that any man could have. I love you because of your amazing personality, and your cute face is just an added bonus. The way you laugh at my horrible jokes and the way you crinkle your nose when you smile just makes me fall even more in love with you." He explained, making you get out of your sad ball.

"Do you really mean that, Brucie?" You sniffed, and he nodded, embracing you.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey..." He sang, his horrible singing voice making you laugh.

"..You never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away." You finished, your sad tears transforming into happy tears.

And you two just sat there until both of you fell asleep, arms wrapped around each other.
