I slowly started regaining consciousness and my eyes were blinded by the sunlight coming in through the windows. I stirred around and opened my eyes to see that I was lying in a bed. I quickly sat up and looked around. Confused, I slowly pulled the covers back and stood up. I scanned my eyes across the room and saw a picture on the dresser. It was a picture of Jimin and and older woman I'm guessing is his grandmother. For some reason, seeing her face gave me a weird feeling and I looked away. There was some commotion coming from the other side of the bedroom door so I went and opened it. Walking down the short hallway, to my left was the kitchen where Jimin was making a glass of water. "Hey, you're up." He said. "Yeah." I suddenly realized that I was in his apartment. How did I even get in here? I thought I couldn't. "W-What happened last night?" I asked. I knew, I just wanted to start a conversation to keep it from getting awkward. "You saw your uh, your parents." He said. "Oh." Was all I said. "Uh, come sit down." I followed him into the living room and sat a distance away from him on the couch. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Um, yeah. I just, I don't know why that happened." I mumbled, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Well you saw your parents I'm assuming for the first time right?" I nodded. "It must've been tough seeing them. When a spirit sees their loved ones for the first time, it's emotional. The longer get the wait the bigger toll it takes on them. It drains their energy." I looked at him. "How do you know?" He shrugged "I think I read it somewhere, I don't know. Hey uh, I never did get your name." He said. "(Y/n)." He gave me a small smile. "(Y/n). It's nice to finally know your name." He said. I bowed my head slightly and there was a short silence until I spoke. "How did I get it here? I wasn't able to before." I said. Jimin raised his eyebrows. "Oh, that. Huh, I don't know. Weird." I gave him a suspicious look but left it alone. "So, are you going to class?" I asked. He shook his head. "I don't have any today." "So what are you gonna do?" I asked. "Well, I was thinking I could just hang out with you." He said. "You still want to hang out with me?" I asked. "Yeah, I-I mean, if you want to." "Yeah, sure." I'm still a little surprised that Jimin still wants me around. He definitely had a sudden change of heart. That day, Jimin's friends wanted him to come with them to an amusement park. Of course, I tagged along. "Yay! I went to amusement parks all the time when I was younger." I said. I started jumping and spinning around as the group was standing in line to get their tickets. Jimin laughed silently at me. "What's so funny Jimin?" One of his friends asked. "Oh, nothing. I just remembered something." As they entered the park, they looked around to figure out what to ride first. "Ooh, let's go to that one!" I yelled, pointing. "You want to?" He asked me. I nodded. "What was that?" One of his friends asked. "Uh, you want to go to that one?" Jimin pointed to the one I pointed to and everyone agreed. Jimin trailed behind everyone and walked with me. "Do you know my friend's names?" He asked me. "I only know Jungkook and Taehyung." I said pointing to them. "Alright, well that is Jin, Hoseok, Namjoon and Yoongi." He pointed to each. "Ah, well it's nice to meet them." We laughed a little. "Jimin, why are you all the way back there?" Jin asked. Without a word, Jimin jogged up to them and I followed. Since there was a odd number of them, there was always an empty seat for me. If it was a two seater, Jimin would volunteer to sit alone so I could be beside him, and if it was a four seater, he sat on the outside. I had so much fun that I forgot I was even invisible to most people. For the first time, I felt like I was still alive. I was a little sad when we had to leave. After we got home, I sighed loudly and sprawled out on the couch. "Tired?" Jimin asked. "Mhm." I closed my eyes. "Do you, uh, want to stay here again?" He asked. I opened one eye. "Really?" He nodded. I opened both eyes and sat up. "But I don't want to inconvenience or burden you." I said. "You're not, it's just an offer. I mean, unless you want to go back to resting on park benches and subways." "Okay fine, if you insist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you were trying to get me to stay here." I smirked and his face reddened. "What? No, I just thought I would be nice and offer." "Mm, okay." "Alright then, Oh, I forgot to check the mail. I'll be right back." Jimin walked out the door and I stayed on the couch in silence. I didn't want to sit there waiting for him so I got up and went to the bathroom to look at myself.I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. "I would kill to take a bath right now." I mumbled. "Hmm." I walked over to the bathtub and turned it on warm. I held my hand under the water and smiled. I closed the door and grabbed a towel off the shelf. I looked around and only say manly soaps and body washes and I sighed. "He's got to have some sweet smelling things around here." I looked in the cabinet under the sink and found some vanilla scented bubble bath stuff. "Bingo." I poured some into the bath and got undressed. As I stepped into the tub, the warm water sent tingles up my leg and I settled in until the water was right above my armpits. As I started relaxing, I heard Jimin come back. "(Y/n)?" He called. "In here!" I yelled. Without thinking, Jimin opened the bathroom door but quickly shut it after he saw me. "Sorry!" He said through the other side of the door. I laughed at him and finished my bath. Once I was done, I twirled to Jimin's room and collapsed on his bed where he was sitting up, tying away on his laptop. "Feel better?" He asked. "I sure do." "Oh, and sorry again for, you know." "Don't worry about it. But why do you have vanilla scented soap?" I asked. "Oh, my mom gave it to me. I never really use it though." "Well you should, it smells really good. See?" I held my hand up to his nose and he sniffed. "Yeah, it does." I sat up and looked back at that picture of Jimin and the older women. I got that same weird feeling. I picked it up and showed Jimin. "Who is this?" I asked. "That's my grandmother." He said. "Ah." I looked back at the picture. My eyes studied the grandmother's face and I couldn't shake that weird feeling. "You okay?" Jimin asked. "Huh? Oh, yeah." I set the picture down and furrowed my brows. First I'm in his apartment when I couldn't even make it past the front door, now this really weird feeling I've never felt before from just a picture? What exactly is going on?
