Perfect

The fear, the hate and the pressure to be...

To be it. To love it. To hate it. To despise it.

We say being perfect isn't human.
We say that it isn't right.
We say it over and over again but it still gives me a fright.

The TV shows us girls all dressed up, looking beautiful, glamorous and fair.
And the magazines show "perfect" girls, giving us tips on how to be like them.

The school yard is filled with words of torment and pressure to look plastic.
Whilst society tells you to be yourself 'cause you're fantastic.

The world keeps changing its minds on being perfect.
Well, I say fuck it!
It really isn't worth it.
