Chap12-Be Free

I ran, I ran as fast as I could till I had to stop. The wind blew my hair across my face as I starred at the land in front of me, my new home, the land of the person who made my life hell.

I stepped over the border line and kept on walking till I knew I wasn't alone, two wolves walked next to me, keeping their distance. I looked up to see him, Azrel. The person who was going to set my pack free and imprison me, the price I have to pay for my packs freedom.

I walked up in front of him, keeping my distance. He gave me a smug smile, knowing he had won the battle between us.

He held his arm out, gesturing for me to walk ahead. I walked in front of him and breathed in, I was doing this, I was actually giving up my freedom to save lives.

Realisation dwelled on me, I was never going back from here on, I couldn't see my cousin or my brother anymore nether could I see Chase. Chase, at his name my wolf howled but I quickly silenced her,I was doing this to save lives. Chase would find someone else, less broken.

Now that I think about it, my life had turned into a tragic fantasy romance. Wow, could my life get any cornier.

I kept my head forward but my eyes couldn't help but wonder over the people around us, the rouges, my enemies.

Azrel caught up and walked beside me, he slipped his hand in mine and I couldn't help but mentally gag, why oh why was I soon this? Oh yeah, my pack.

He lead me down into the basement, he opened the door for me and I walked in,

"Just as I promised. Their freedom" he opened their gate,

"You may say your goodbye"

I gave Azrel a tight smile as I entered the cellar, I looked at them. I stood in front of them, tall, shoulders back. A strong stance. A boy with blue eyes that I knew oh-so-well broke the silence,

"Alex?"

I smiled at him,

"Hello, Addy"

He stood up and looked me in the eye,

"You've changed so much. Are you rescuing us, are we free?"

"Your free to go" I said moving put of the way.

People stood up and cheered, they followed me out as I lead them outside but there faces fell when they saw no battle.

"What's happening Alex? What have you done?"

"Go to Jared's territory, you know where that is, right?"

He nodded,

"You coming?" He whispered,

"I'm sorry Addy. I've made a deal with the devil for your freedom. Can you do me a favour?"

"Anything" he answered,

"Tell Chase that I'm sorry and that I love him"

"Is he..."

I nodded and he looked at me sadly,

"Go before he changes his mind, don't worry about me and take care of the pack Addy. I believe in you"

He nodded and gave me a Sade smile before running off into the forest, the rest of the pack following behind him.

The wind blew softly, goodbye.

(Chase's POV)

Some unknown scents came onto Jared's land as we tried to figure out a plan to save Alex, I needed her back.

Jared went off and soon he came back, his eyes wide.

"Phillip, you need to see this"

We got up and followed Jared outside, dirty people lined up against the tree line.

"She did it, she really did it. That stupid girl" Phillip muttered.

A boy with messy brown hair and blue eyes came up to me, sadness was in the depth of his eyes.

"Are you Chase?" He asked, all I could do was nod.

"Oh man. An alpha too? That stupid girl" he muttered, ran his fingers through his hair but then gave a crooked smile, "but at least there is hope"

"Huh?"

"Alex told me to give you a message; she said she is sorry and that she....loves you''

He muttered the last bit quietly that I almost didn't hear it.

Almost

Alex loves me? She loves me! But she is gone, gone to save her pack that is in front if me right now.

Knowing that Alex loves me, I am going to get her back at all costs. Even if it means war.
