I always hated when my mom used to tell me her plans for my future. How she always wanted me to have at least three kids, maybe mate with a high ranking wolf in the Town Pack. She told me she wanted me to be a stay home mom like her. When she found out that I was mating with Hue, she thought all of her dreams for me were going to come true, when really, they weren't.

Sure I've fallen in love with Hue, but I don't want kids. Not now anyway. I'm only twenty-one years old, I don't want a child till I'm at least twenty-five. Maybe thirty. I can't stand to think of being the Alpha of the biggest pack around while being a mother. And plus, I know that the Hunter isn't done with me. Not by a long shot. I can't risk a child yet.I just couldn't stand to think if I had a child and the Hunters took him or her like they took Hue. At least Hue could have took care of himself, but a baby couldn't.

I wipe away the angry tears that had formed and lay on my bed alone staring at the ceiling. I yawn and roll over.

"I wish the Hunter Council would just attack or something already. Then I could end it permanently." I sigh. "Stupid Hunters."

There's a knock at the door.

"Roxy?" Natalya's voice comes. "Can I come in?"

I get up and open the door and hug my Beta. She comes in and we sit on the bed. I remember the years we had lived together so she could train me as an Alpha, and to make sure we we're safe. Now, she lives in the quiet part of town where she and her dead mate/husband used to live.

"What brings you to my little home in the woods?" I ask.

"Hue called me." I frown. "He said he tried talking to you about having a baby."

"Yea." I cross my arms.

"He told me you came into the room and havent came out all night."

"Yea, so?"

"He was worried about you. So I came to talk to you. I know how you feel about having children Roxy." I get up and walk to window.

"It's not that Natalya. It's that the Hunter Council isn't done with our pack and I don't want a child in case they decide to wait and take him or her."

She gets up and puts her hand on my shoulder.

"You can't let them control your life Roxy."

"They aren't. I control my own life, but I will not risk a child. Not yet. I know they're out there and I know they're watching."

Watcher: Present Day

"How do you know?" The Beta Natalya asks her Alpha.

"I feel eyes watching me in the city when I walk the streets. And today I saw someone or something standing outside my window. But when I turned my back for a second, they were gone." Alpha Roxy looks at Beta Natalya.

"Why didn't you-"

"Tell you? I didn't want to worry you since I could never find the source of where the feeling was coming from. I wanted to make sure I wasn't being parinoid."

My eyes widen when I realize what she's said. She can feel me watching her. I frown and walk back into the woods where they won't be able to hear me as I call the Council.

"It's Watcher."

"Hello Watcher. What do you have to report?"

"The Alpha Roxy can feel me watching her. She knows that you've sent me, but she thinks that your going to attack. She wants us to attack so she can end it."

"She wants to end the Hunter Council?"

"That's what it sounds like, Councilmen."

"Then we should attack." I turn and see Hunter Vivian, the Hunter the Council sent to check out the New Moon Pack. Only she looks different. "If she wants to end the Council, then we must attack."

"Vivian? Are you okay?"

"Vivian has realized the truth Watcher. The Council must be protected at all cost or the hunter community will fall apart and the werewolf population will flourish and the world will be under their controlled."

"Of course Councilmen." I say. "Vivan and I are supposed to attack yes? Now?"

"Yes. That would please us."

"Yes Coucilmen." I hang up and look at Vivan.
