I woke up and yawned. I looked at Hue and smiled. He was still asleep, and I could feel him under me, reminding me of what we did. I was alittle sore in spots, but I ingnored the soreness and got up without waking him. I look at him and smile, then pull clothes on. I sneak into the kitchen and grab a pop tart and an apple, going downstairs and looking at Vivian. She's asleep, back to the wall. I smile and sit in the middle of the floor, waiting for her to wake up as I eat my apple slowly. I hear her stirring and look at her, then back at my book. She sits up and looks around, then sees me. She frowns at me, and I slide the pop tart to her still reading. She opens it and breaks one in half and makes a face.
"I think I liked the plate of food yesterday." She mutters, but eats the poptart slowly. When she's down she talks. "So.." I look at her. "I heard you guys upstairs-"
I frown and stand up. I toss her a water bottle then go upstairs without a glance. I curse at my burning checks and lean against the door.
"Roxy?" I hear Hue and dash into the bathroom, locking the door. He knocks. "Roxy? You in there?"
"Yea." I say, lifting the lid so he hears it. "I'll be out in a bit. Start breakfast please. I already fed Vivian."
"Okay."
I listen to him walk away and look at myself in the mirror. I sigh, then realize something. I pull out the calender from underneath my sink I keep for the time of month, and curse. I call Natalya and asks her to distract Hue for me. I hear her come in and them talk, so I sneak out the hole in my bedroom wall and run to town. When I get there, I go pull the hood up on my hoodie, and go in. I go up to the counter and look at the woman. Her eyes widen. I smile.
"Hello Maddy." I say. "Can you keep a secret?"
"To you? Of course!" I smile and grab a pregancy test with four in the box. "You and-"
"Shush. I don't need anyone in here hearing you." She nods. "I need this, but I don't want anyone to know understand?" She nods. I hand her the money and smile. "Thanks Maddy."
"Of course, Roxy."
"Can I go in the bathroom?" She nods.
"Yea. Of course."
I go in the bathroom and use all four. I kept the door locked, and waited till they all said the same answer.
