"Florence, are you going to the party tonight at Lynne Denham house?" My best friend Luke asked me while we were in the lunch line, I gave him a look of surprise "Luke, I know your retarded but I know you have a enough common sense to know that a girl like me doesn't go to parties." I said very rudely as I took a seat, Luke looked hurt but I knew he was just playing around, I turned my head away from Luke to look at Shawn.
The cutest boy in school, from what I heard. He was Lynne bf they were hardcore PDA believers, they were always making out in gym class. Luke tapped me "Florence, can you please just go? I bet you'll meet some really hot guys!" He said while nudging my shoulder; I sighed "I'm only saying yes, because I don't wanna have to go through your puppy eyes again." I smirked while rolling my eyes.
Later on, while I was walking down the hallway I saw Shawn but he wasn't with Lynne he was by himself standing by my locker. "Uhhhh," I began "can I help you?" I tapped him, he turned around with an angry look on his face but it quickly disappeared "oh sorry, uhh..." he started.
"Florence" I said blankly as I opened my locker, out the corner of my eye I saw him smile "hey, um Florence are you going to Lynne's party?" What is up with people and asking me this question??? I smiled "yeah!"
"Awesome, I can't wait to see you there!" He said while running down the hallway.
