Chapter 23

Get In Where Ya Fit In

**Happy Holidays Ladies** I am back and ready to write for you beautiful people. I haven't written a chapter in this book for a while, so if  a few things don't line up, such as names or whatever please consider that I am in a sense starting over.  Like, I'm picking up where I left off but at the same time I may have a few contradictions, only because I don't read my work lol. Hope I can get back into my groove. I missed you, a lot. Glad to be back. Hope you enjoy this start up. IM BACK!!!!♥ **Also sorry for any minor typos lol*

Just a week and a few days had gone by. You were still attending school and helping your parents adjust out here in NYC. Was the move permanent? Maybe not. Or was it? That did not matter. All that mattered at this moment was your parents feeling comfortable through their situation. Whenever you weren't busy with your own life, you made sure to check with your parents. For the most part, they were doing okay. Thankfully, Rev. and Mrs. Justine didn't mind them staying at their place. They didn't want your parents to feel like a burden but instead a joy to be around. The love Dan's parents made them feel helped get them through a lot since the past incident of the house being foreclosed. His parents made sure to connect with them spiritually as well so that they would also feel that inner peace. But, your parents knew in the back of their mind that they had to figure something out. Crashing at their place wouldn't work for the long run, only out of respect for Rev and Jus. Your parents were very independent people and were not use to others being the providers. That was probably the hardest thing to overcome, the pride simply. But at the end of the day, they knew that God was in the mist of all the chaos. Each night, each tear, each cry He was listening and planning something above it all. Something big, just as Perry told them. Surely enough, their ship would be coming in but until then it was time to let God do His work. For now. Living out here in NYC had become their reality in the matter of days. Although it was a tough adjustment, they continued to trust Him. Even in the mist of your parents being here, your life was not on hold by any means. Things were just getting started...

"Baby!" "Yes?!" "Bring me a beer from the kitchen!" You rolled your eyes while opening the fridge door. Your arm extended towards the last one in the pack. Shaking your head, you snatched the box from the shelve and crumpled the box with one arm before shooting it inside the garbage can. "How many has he even had today," you thought to yourself. "Here Daniel." "Thank you babes," his eyes followed you as you made your way around the couch. The two of you were in the living room together. He was watching a game as you studied for one of your classes. It really hadn't hit you how important Prescott's class was. Yes, you were a Fashion Major so most of your classes were based around that. You had a class on textiles and patterns, one on the history of fashion,  another on simply color combinations. Prescott's class was the fundamentals of styling. Bummer, because you had to take that class. Now or later. With all the issues going on with your family, you didn't even have a chance to deal with those emotions. To distract yourself, you just tried acing in your other classes, which meant intense studying. Unfortunately, that didn't work though. In the back of your mind, you knew you blew a very important thing. *Bark Bark* Champ jumped on Daniels lap, then tried licking his beer bottle. "Nah uh Buddy, you can't have any of this right here," takes sip, "Better lap water from that expensive ass water bowl Mommy bought you. HAAAA!" "*Bark! Bark*!"  "No Champ, stop!" He whimpered, than rested his head on Dan's lap. "Good boy. I knew you'd understand." You chuckled a bit from their interaction. Daniel looked over at you, watching you flip through pages in your textbook. "Why you sitting so far away from me?" You looked up, "Because you are a distraction. You lucky we even sharing the same oxygen right now..." He chuckled, "Take a break and come sit  by me." "No Daniel." You looked up and saw him making those eyes at you. "[Yn], you been reading that goddamn book since I got home hours ago. Give ya head a rest ma," he sipped a bit, "C'mon. Seriously." Maybe he was right, you were overworking yourself.... A lot. He'd notice whenever you were being distant. The two of you had two completely different childhoods. He grew up in a house full of siblings, while you on the other hand had no siblings. You were use to being alone and knew how to distance yourself from people sometimes. From his perspective, he was used to being around other siblings, almost having to be vocal about things. You just weren't use to certain things. Even after two years of this relationship. But Daniel, he could read you oh so very well lol. Down to a "T". (Is that how that saying goes lol?) "Come here baby."  You knew that shit meant business. Without hesitation, you shut that book and made your way to his side of the couch. He laughed as you crawled like a baby on all fours. Champ sat up and moved on the side of Dan. He was thought you were coming over to play lol. With one arm, he grabbed you and placed you in his lap, making you face him. He sat up a bit so that he could wrap his arms around you. "Talk to me, what's going on wit chu? Huh?" You still couldn't look into his eyes sometimes.  "That beer on ya breathe is what's going on." He rolled his eyes, "Hush. You know I like having a beer after the studio." That's if he came home at a decent time lol, other than that he'd go straight to bed. " 'A beer?' , boy please. You went through that whole six pack." He nodded, "Nah uh, only had two." "I remember getting up quite a few times." Playfully, he smacked your thighs. "Don't get smart wit me." You didn't respond, which made him smack your thigh again. You both started laughing. He held you as he leaned forward to place his beer on the coffee table, then he straddled you with both arms as he leaned back. "What?" "Talk." "I don't want to. I'm fine." "Bullshit, I know you females like gettin' shit off ya chest and venting," he made girly hand motions mocking you. "Hahaha, okay okay. *you paused*  I mean I'm getting better with my parents and all. That situation does get me, only sometimes but its other shit." "Like..." You looked into his brown eyes, "School babe." "I thought you were doing good in your classes?" "I am but its just my other class..." He sighed, "Damn. I completely forgot about that shit mama." "Yeah." "Can't you retake it?" "She's the only teacher that teaches that class, which is a requirement." "Damn... Look if we need to move you to a different school or sum we can do that bae." "No no, I can't. I could lose credits possibly and don't wanna start over." Daniel could see the concern in your eyes. "I know you've heard me say this a thousand and one times but it's gonna be okay babe. Let things fall in place. Hopefully that dumb broad come to her senses and realize what she's done. We both know that wasn't your fault," he kissed your neck. "Yeah." At first when telling Spin and Dan about what happened a while ago, you only felt anger but now the disappointment was starting to settle in. And it sucked. Champ got jealous so he wedged himself onto Dan's lap too. He started licking Daniel's face. "I swear Champ be tryna cock block us Dan." He laughed, then looked over your shoulder at the score. "Damn, the Bears are losing." Champ suddenly got on Dan's lap, then made his way to the coffee table. "I knew he was gone do that shit, STOP CHAMP! NO! DOWN!!" He stopped in his tracks. Oh boy was after whatever Dan had in that bottle lol. Daniel got distracted from your yelling. "Go to bed. NOW!" "Baby, don't be mean." "No, we have to discipline him. He knows better. Plus he is getting better. Like we can't teach him that its okay to eat off plates and drink outta cups. GO TO BED CHAMP!" Champ whimpered again, then headed to your bedroom. "I fed him earlier so he is fine. Just fine." Daniel watched you yawn. "Yo ass tired too huh?" "Yeah..." "Let's go follow Champ. C'mon." Daniel turned off the TV before carrying you into the bedroom.

Daniel planted kisses on your body as he carried you into the bedroom. He laid you on the bed but stopped before getting in bed too. "HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Look Bae." You looked up and saw that Champ moved his bed outside on the patio lol. "Someone is salty." "Wait. That door was open right?" "Yeah [Yn]." You laughed, but then felt bad. Daniel jogged to the patio door, then saw Champ sleeping peacefully next to a chair on the patio. He joined you, "Guess he's fine out there. I don't wanna wake him." Daniel crawled over your body, then stared into your eyes, "You talked to your parents today?" "Mhm, they doing okay. I'll probably see them tomorrow." "Yeah?" He started unbuttoning your top, with his mouth. You guys haven't really had sex in a few days, which was a long time for you two lol. You got chills watching him undress you. He pulled back each side of your shirt before kissing your breasts. His lips moved from your breasts to your plump lips. Suddenly, he stopped to take his shirt off. Those results from the gym were really showing. Each day he seemed to be getting bigger and better. Literally and lyrically. Daniel was in a real good place right now. He was currently off tour, so that meant making music. He put out some material for the fans, just to give them the appetizer before the album. No lie, he was your daily motivation. He was your strength and your rock. Your other half. Sometimes you'd just look at him in awe. Just like right now lol. "What?" "Nothing..." He smirked, than leaned back down to kiss your lips. His body grinded against yours as he kissed and sucked your lips. He knew your were stressed and wanted to take you away, just for the night.
