Chapter 3: the Second Floor

I waited by the fountain for the boy I was in a party with for more than 20 minutes. And he said to be here early oh well,I sat down and looked at all the people in the middle of town. They all looked so happy,I wondered what they were really thinking. I can't be the only one worried about my real life. But I shouldn't be focusing on that right now,we need to defeat the boss.

"Un!" The boy yelled to me. I stood up in shock. 'How dose he know my name' I turned around to see him running towards me "hey sorry,I went to the wrong place". You couldn't really see it,but I was smiling. He was so cute...wait no! Not now fn,you barely know him! " lets get going " I nodded and started walking towards a forest with the rest of the group.

"And we'll need to do some switchs" the boy said excitedly. I looked at him for a second, I never got the chance to learn what that was "what's a switch?" He had a surprised look on his face "okay tell me,is this your first time playing an mmo?' 'No,I was in the beta test. I just joined later so I never got to see what it was"He stopped walking and let out a huge sigh. It was wired,we kept walking and he explained what it was to me.

We finally got to the boss room. Deable stood in front of the door and said " okay everyone, when we go in get into formation. If you have to break it,try to get back into it asap! Okay,on ward to battle!" Everyone was cheering, we ran inside with the door closing behind us. It was dark for a moment, but then the room filled with light. The huge red boss came crashing down with its sword.

"On ward!" Deable yelled. "Ahhhh!" Everyone started fighting,the boy was looking at me "ready?" I nodded and started running towards the boss. I staped my sword into its leg. I was so fast I could barely see my own blade.

"Switch!" The boy yelled to me,I jumped out and he jumped in. I started healing some of the other player's. I noticed that the boss was almost out of HP "Everyone,attack!" Deable yelled eagerly. Everyone was fighting, the boss jumped up and pulled down another wepon "everyone back up,I got this!" Deable jumped towards the boss,it striked him back. He flew back "Deable! No!" The boy ran towards him,but then Deable died.

"Omg" I was so sacred. I started running towards the boss.I was fighting it as hard as I could to finish it off "un!Switch!" I hesitated but fell back and the boy finally killed the boss. 'How does he know my name?!' I noticed my cloke came off in battle.

Congratulations!

Everyone was falling to the ground,we were all so tired.

"Why?! Why do you let Deable die?!" A man said. I could tell the boy was trembling "I didn't" he said under his breath. "Oh I know,you were a beta tester! Weren't you? Hell,I bet you there's some of them here right now! Come on show yourself!" I was so scared, I looked at the boy and he was to.

"Ha,ha-ha" he was laughing, I wasn't sure why. He got up "Yeah,I was in the beta test. But you know? None of those other guys were as good as me or you. Heck, they couldn't even get passed the first boss. I've gotten to higher floors then you can ever image! And that's a fact." The boy started walking to the stairs to get to the second floor. "Your worse then a beta tester, your a cheater, a-a beter!"

He stopped walking "a beter,I like it. Okay I'm a beter." He opened his menu and put on a long black cote. He started walking up the stairs, and when he got to the top I ran towards him "wait!" He stopped "how do you know my name,from before?' 'If you look right about here,it's right there" he pointed just under his HP bar "Ki-ri-to? Your name's kirito." I started giggling "ha-im so dumb,it was there the hole time and I didn't even notice' ' yeah well by".

"Wait.Before I go,I want to say this" He turned towards me "don't get your ture self lost in this world. Stay alive,because you'll hurt more then just yourself when you get back to the real world. And if someone asks you to join a guild,don't pass it up. Go for it and live to the fullest." He then sent me something 'Kirito would like to disband the party' I accepted it and he left to the second floor.

'Kiritos amazing!' And I wasn't even mad that I was thinking that this time. Because now I did know him,for real!

I didn't go to the second floor right away, I wanted to explore the first floor a little more. So I went into a different town. It was called Black crow. I thought it was really wired. I went into the center of the town to see where I could get some good food! Man was I hungry, so I went to this restaurant called 'the floor'. It was amazing! All around the restaurant was these Christmas type lights hanging from the sealing. And over top of every tabel was a small chandelier. It was beautiful!

Just before I left,I decided to check my armour. "Awe man! My sword!" I said very loudly. My sword really needed to be repaired, it's durability was at 10%. Just as I was worrieing,a girl with short pink hair came up to me. " Hi there miss!" She seemed very energetic. I liked her! "Hi,do I know you?" She sat down,I didn't mind it "No sorry. I should probably introduce myself. I'm Liz beth." She held out her hand,I shook it. She smiled. "Mines un' 'nice to meet you un! I over heard you say something about your sword?" I nodded. "Yeah, i just need it to be repaired. I'm planning on going somewhere tomorrow, but I'll have to wait till I can find a black smith. *sigh*" She smiled at me "I think I can help you with that problem. Come with me!" .

"Where are we going Liz beth?' 'You'll see,and call me Liz" we only walked a couple of stores from the restaurant before we ended up in front of "Welcome to Liz beth's black smith shop!" My eyes light up,I was so happy! I couldn't believe this. We went inside to a half empty shop. "Sorry its not that full,we've only been in the game what? Three month's now? So yeah. Can I have your sword please?' 'Oh yeah here!" I took the sword out of my storage and handed it to Liz. She took me to the back and started working on it as I sat in a chair.

I thought to myself 'has it really been three month's now?' I was clenching my hands together scared. But then I remembered what kirito had said to me 'don't get your ture self lost' he was right! I needed to keep living and not lose myself here. I needed to keep going so I can help everyone get out of this virtual world that they call a game.

"Done!" I stood up and went over to Liz. My sword looked completely different "wa-what did you do?!' ' you know, gave you a new one,your welcome" it was a brand new sword. It was blue and red, the handle was round for better grip. "I love it! Thank you!" I hugged her,I was almost in tears. I looked at her " why thought? Why are you doing this for me?' 'You know,just looking for more customers.' ' oh right,how much?" She turned away from me "no-nothing' ' what?' 'Instead I want to be your personal black smiths from now on and" she turned back to me "your friend" I was smiling "of core's!" She came and hugged me. Then we went out front. "So,why did you need it done so quickly anyway?' 'Oh um,I'm planning on going to find a guild to join for a little till I can get into the knights of the blood outh" She looked surprised "why do you want to join them?' 'Because, I was told if I can join a guild,I should. And I also want to meet the bad ass lightning flash!" She smiled "that's really cool' 'thanks! I'll come by tomorrow before I leave, okay?' 'Okay! By un!"

Liz was awesome! I'm really glad I met her. I went back to the inn I was staying at and fell right to sleep. 'I can't wait to see him again!'
