DIY: Heat Protectant

Here's an easy way to make some heat protectant at home! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
- water
- your choice of a natural oil (coconut, olive, lavender, etc)
- some kind of spray bottle to hold your protectant

Directions:
- add the oil and water to the bottle
- shake
- use!

Why you should use heat protectant:
If you are constantly using some sort of heated styling tool on your hair, you can cause a lot of damage. By doing that without using heat protectant, you can split ends to appear faster, your hair will be drier and more brittle, the health of your hair will greatly decrease over time. Some heat protectants are quite pricey but this is an easy way to make it yourself for much cheaper.
