ϟ twenty ϟ

"You know, I never exactly knew that the both of us would make it this far. I didn't see us as a couple when we first met." Louis exclaimed while his eyes glistened from the moon and the stars that shined above the both of them. Drew's head was just below his chest and she could hear the silent beating that tuned through her ears.

Drew couldn't help but totally disagree with what he said, because she saw a whole new world once she landed her eyes on him. His eyes were an ocean she could forever get lost in. Everything about him caused chills to run upon her skin. She knew that it was a feeling irreplaceable, something about him that she wasn't able to let go of.

"This is probably going to sound incredibly ridiculous to you, but honestly, when I did first meet you Louis, it created this feeling. I've never felt that feeling before in my life. And just as time went on the feeling became more common and I couldn't help but slowly fall for you more and more each day." Drew spoke as she bit the bottom of her lip, her face turning a crimson color. She couldn't help but feel embarrassed after what she had confessed to him, but nor did she regret it. Louis's lips uplifted into a big smile and he couldn't help but feel so giddy at the thought of it.

"That feeling is what I feel with you now Drew. You don't understand how happy I was to see Eleanor leave, that sounds so ungrateful and mean, but when you really think about what you're going to get out of it, it changes your entire world. You honestly change my entire world Drew, and I couldn't ask for anyone else. I don't understand how I never noticed you before. Because you are certainly one hell of a catch." Louis huffed as he looked down towards her. He saw her grin brightly as her eyes traveled throughout the night sky looking at the many different stars.

"You don't understand how long I have been waiting for you to say something like that." Drew laughed as she clamped her eyes shut, loving the moment she was in. Louis laughed along as well, his arms pulling her in closer as he sponged kisses all over her face. Drew giggled at his sudden action and started laughing even harder.

"The funny thing is though, all the lads pressured me into giving you a try. And it was so crazy to me because I was with Eleanor. But the only one that disagreed to that idea was Zayn, and I found out why once he told all of us you guys were together. It gave me this odd feeling and it made me start to dislike Zayn more than anything. I kept thinking to myself that nobody can have you except me. That was when I realized that my feelings for you were beyond true, and the idea of you and me was engraved in my mind." Louis sighed as he couldn't help but smile at the thought. Everything about Drew amazed him, and he just wished that he listened to himself earlier before they both were together.

A loud ringing interrupted their conversation as Drew looked over to her phone and noticed that Cameron had started calling her. She felt her heart begin to race in her chest as she quickly grabbed the phone and held it closely to her chest.

"I'm sorry Louis, I just have to take this real quick." Drew groaned as she climbed down from the roof and hopped onto the green grass. She pulled up her skinny jeans and answered the call immediately. Cameron had nonstop been calling her every day, and she knew that he wanted an explanation for everything. Drew had promised him earlier that they would soon be a couple, but everything with Louis erupted and she just simply had to follow her heart. No matter how much that sounded cheesy, she had to explain it all to Cameron once and for all.

"H-Hello?" Drew stuttered over the phone as her cheeks began to turn a deep red. She heard shuffling on the other end and soon heard Cameron's deep scruffy voice.

"Oh hey, I didn't think you would actually answer this time, considering you have been ignoring all my calls." Cameron spat through the phone. Drew looked back up towards the roof and noticed that Louis was cleaning up all the pillows and blankets that had set up. She knew that the call had ruined their date and she just hoped that Louis wasn't angered by it.

"Listen Cameron, I know you want an explanation for everything but haven't you already gotten one? Me declining all of your calls should have given you the idea that we are now longer nothing. Can't you just leave a girl alone for once?" Drew spoke through the phone, her voice in distress. She was twirling the end of her shirt with her fingers as she waited for a response to erupt from Cameron's mouth.

"Sorry that I actually had feelings for you and wanted a real explanation because out of all the girls I've known, I thought you would be the one who was more honest and willing to give me the damn truth." Cameron bit back with annoyance traced in his voice. Drew was surprised to hear him speak such a thing as she saw Louis peek his head down towards her with furrowed eyebrows. She waved him off, trying to make him understand that it was really no big deal.

"I'm sorry okay? I truly am sorry and I really didn't want it to be like this at all. I've had feelings for this one guy for a very long time. Now is the time the both of us actually gave it a shot. We only went on one date Cameron, I think you can let me go because I've already let go of you." Drew whispered into the phone, hoping that Louis wouldn't hear her words.

The call had ended shortly as Cameron had hung up on her once she gave him an explanation. Drew rolled her eyes at his childish actions and put her phone down onto the floor. She wasn't expecting Cameron to get so angry over the fact that she didn't want to see him anymore. One date wasn't supposed to change everything between them.

"Is everything okay?" Louis questioned as Drew turned around, finding him down from the roof of his home as she smiled and nodded her head for a response.

"I just had to take care of some boy problems. I didn't exactly want to tell you, but I am anyways. I don't want to keep certain things away from you, because I'm just not that type of person who wants to hide stuff from you." Drew responded quietly as she ran her fingers through her long locks of thick hair. Louis nodded and egged her on to tell him what the call was exactly for.

"The Cameron guy that I went on a date with, he apparently had great amount of feelings for me, which is understandable because we really did click as two people. But there was something about him that didn't tell me he was the one. And once you told me you had feelings for me, that completely changed everything overall, so you're the only one I truly want to be with anyways." Drew smiled as her cheeks began to flush with crimson red. Louis smiled and looked down, a bit annoyed that any guy tried to steal Drew away from him. But the more he thought about it, the more he realized that Drew wasn't exactly his before.

As Drew grabbed the blankets from their previous little cuddling date, Louis stopped her as his fingers wrapped around her forearm.

"You love me, right?" Louis asked, tilting his head while his eyes traveled her perfect features. Drew laughed a bit and smiled.

"I love you way more than you can describe."
