November
"Pine, I really don't want to." I said reluctantly.
"Oh come on! Just wear it!" He said.
"I look ridiculous!"
"You look adorable!" River said.
"River, you're supposed to be on my side!"
"Just this once, I agree with Pine."
"Ugh!"
"Let me just see it!" River called.
"Fine!"
Pine and River had gotten me a maternity shirt with a loading bar across the belly. Like the ones on computer programs.
"I love it Lina." River said. "Isn't there anything you like about it?"
It was really soft.
"It is really soft and comfortable." I said.
"See? I told you." Pine said. "You should wear it at dinner."
"No way."
"Why not?"
"Pine, it's Thanksgiving. I'm not wearing it at dinner."
"It's just the four of us." River pleaded.
"Tell you what, I'll wear it while I'm helping Breeze make dinner."
"I'll take what I can get." Pine said, kissing my forehead.
"How's the new training room coming along?" I asked.
"We're almost done."
"Good. I'll need to use that in a couple of months." I joked.
"Very funny. Let's go help Breeze."

"Hey Lina could you.... What are you wearing?"
"A present my loving husband and best friend got me. What do you think?"
Breeze held back a laugh.
"I think it's...adorable."
"Oh your so funny. Now help me with dinner."
We worked for a few hours.
All of a sudden I started to feel dizzy.
I leaned against the counter and trying to control my breathing which was getting heavier. Breeze noticed.
"Lina, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm...I, fine I'm just...I'm..."
"Lina?" River said getting up. Pine noticed and walked over to me.
"I just feel..." Pine put his hand on my forehead.
"You're burning up. Let's go get you and the baby checked out."
"No Pine I'm not sick I just haven't drank anything that's it."
Pine picked me up and walked me over to the couch.
"River do you mind?"
"Already got it."
"Lina you have a fever. You sure you won't let me check it out?"
"Pine, I'm the element of fire and my child could be too. My internal temperature is literally burning."
"Alright. Don't you dare get sick on me."
"I won't."
Suddenly I felt a lot better.
"Now I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Yeah."
"Okay."
"Lina just chill for awhile. You've been on your feet for hours." Breeze said. "We got this."
"Breeze, I'm a superhero who got dizzy from standing too long."
"Just sit. Take a nap.
"Okay. Don't burn anything while I sleep okay?"
"I promise." He said.
"You're crossing your fingers behind your back."
We laughed and I soon fell asleep to the sweet sounds of my family.
