It was late and approximately 10:05 pm, the blonde superhero was standing under a lamp post with a bouquet of red roses behind his back. He looked around his dark surroundings, looking for a certain girl. Earlier that day he managed to talk his partner-in-justice, Ladybug, to go out with him at night for a city patrol. Of course, it was not easy. But after he begged her numerous times she finally agreed to it.

Once she agreed he considered this 'city patrol' a romantic night date with his beloved. He planned to sweep her off her feet with his flirting, a romantic stroll through the lit city, the flowers, and anything else he could pull off. She was late.. But she was usually late to things so he didn't think much of it. He just waited for her with a smile curved on his lips and flowers ready to give her.

The dark haired girl walked down the sidewalk looking for the flirty young boy she was too meet. She seemed a bit lost in thought, forgetting where she was at the time. She walked around a corner and saw the blonde haired boy and slightly smiled and shook her head as she started walking over to him.

Chat's cat ears twitched once it caught the sound of distant footsteps approaching him. He quickly looked in the direction the footsteps came from and saw his red beloved Ladybug. His smile brightened as he walked up to her, meeting her half-way. "I was starting to think you wouldn't show up." Chat said as he chuckled slightly, obviously joking. He pulled out the bouquet of red flowers from behind him and revealed them to her. "Ta-daaa~ These are for you." He said and handed her the bouquet.

Ladybug looked at them in awe and smiled "why thank you kitty cat.."

Chat was relieved to see the girl's sudden, bright smile. It was dangerous, it made his heart flutter and his cheeks burn a small blush. "Anything for you, my lady." He replied and rubbed the back of his head as he smiled. "Anyways.. Let's go on our romantic night stroll- I mean patrol of course." He chuckled and held out his arm for Ladybug to lock her arm with his.

Ladybug starred at the red roses and started walking, not realizing he offered his hand to her. "Yeah.. Let's get going."

The black cat couldn't help but frown a bit as he watched the girl walk off without him. He felt like he was left hanging.. But he couldn't expect her to just suddenly get all romantic with him. That wasn't like her and he loved her for her so in the end he didn't mind. He quickly caught up with her and watched her walk beside him. "I didn't do anything weird to those flowers if that's what you're thinking." He chuckled.

"I'm glad you like the flowers but you gotta watch where you're going, my lady." He said and grabbed her before she could run into a lamp post.

She was pulled to the side and stumbled as she fell into chat's arms. The flowers fell to the ground but ladybug just looked up at him. "thank you.. Chat.."

He didn't expect her to be so surprised and stumble into his arms, but he was glad she did. "No problem.~" He grinned at her as his eyes trailed to her empty hand. Where were the flowers? He looked downwards and saw the bouquet on the floor. "Ah! Crap!" Chat made sure she was back on her feet and balanced before he reached down and grabbed the bouquet. He blew off any dust or dirt that got on it and smiled slightly. "My bad."

She nodded and gently took the bouquet in her small hands "let's get going.." She slightly smiles and started walking again. "Why exactly do we need to do a night patrol..? We've never done one of these before"

The feline superhero let out a relieved sigh that she still accepted his flowers even though he caused her to drop it. But he knew she wasn't the type to be picky about everything so that also relieved him. He walked by her side casually and hummed to himself a bit before she stroke up a conversation. "I thought the city needed some watchful eyes at night. Plus it's really romantic at night~" He replied flirtatiously. But he was right, Paris was lit beautifully at night.

Ladybug rolled her eyes and couldn't help but smile. She looked up at the lights, all lot across Paris. Ladybug stopped and looked at him. "Don't you find it quite odd that we haven't had any akuma showing up lately..?" She questioned him.

Chat took a few glances at his partner-in-crime, he couldn't help it, she looked beautiful with the Paris lights gleaming at her. She looked like she was glowing. Before he knew it she stopped walking and was staring right at him. "Ah.. Uh, yeah. Maybe we can finally be in peace and live happily ever after?" He grinned and wrapped his arm around her flirtatiously.

Ladybug looked at him blankly "b-but.." she tried to find the words she was looking for. "I-I don't know chat.. If there is peace then there is no need for us.. No more ladybug.. No more chat noir.." She looked at the flowers and stepped away from him and looked down. "I'm sorry.."

Suddenly, a bad feeling came over the cat's mind, his heart already felt like it was breaking from her response. He was hoping she would give him her same roll of the eye and smile. But he received a quiet girl he didn't recognize. "I-I was kidding.. I mean, of course Paris will need us, no matter what. They need us, heroes." He tried to assure her nervously but she just stepped away from him. "Ladybug? What's the matter? You got quiet all of the sudden.." Chat muttered as he walked up to her.

Ladybug looked up at him. "It's just that I'm worried.. One day we will have to stop working together.." She sat down at a near by bench. "And one day something is going to happen to one of us.. What if we never see each other again?" She wiped a small tear from her face and forced a small smile "I can't let the cat out of the bag.." She giggled a bit at her own cat joke.

Chat watched his partner suddenly fall into despair and doubt about their future together and he didn't know what to say at all. He followed behind her and sat on the bench right by her side. The black cat didn't expect to see his beloved cry on the day he wanted to swoon her, but he did, and he was surprised. The blonde rested his black gloved hand on top of her's and held it tight. "Even if we don't kick butts together we'll still be together. I promise. I'll always follow you around, Lovebug." He said and nuzzled into her, hoping to comfort her. "This kitty won't be going anywhere without his lady." He said before he hugged her tight.

Ladybug smiled into his hug. She felt butterflies in her stomach. She only felt this way about someone when she saw him at school. This time was different. She hugged him back and sighed. "I'm sorry chat.. I ruined the night.. All my crying.. I really do appreciate what you do for me" she pulled away from the hug and looked at him and she whispered "I really do like you.."

The feline superhero was glad to feel his hug returned, he could feel his lady's embrace kind and loving. She was truly his beloved. "I love you nonetheless, my lady." He said flirtatiously as he grinned when she apologized for crying. Even when she was crying she looks beautiful, but he preferred her smiling more than anything. As soon as they parted he looked up at her and noticed her lovely blue eyes already locked on him. He smiled cheekily not knowing what to say. Before he knew it he heard a faint whisper come out of Ladybug's mouth. "I like you too.~" He replied instantly and happily.
