The Protector and the Slayer

welcome to the hellmouth part 4

Buffy and Kayla comes from around the back of the Bronze, looking around. Xander comes up to them, carrying his skateboard.

"You're leaving already?" He asked them while looking at Kayla

"Xander, have you seen Willow?" Kayla asked him

"Not tonight."

"We need to find her. She left with a guy." Buffy tells him

"We are talking about Willow, right? Scoring at the Bronze. Work it, girlfriend." He said seeming impressed that willow had done it

"Where would they go?" Kayla asked him as she looked around the area

"Why, you know something about Mr. Good bar that she doesn't? Oh! Hey. I hope he's not a vampire. Cause then you'd have to slay him or maybe use an ability to kill him" He answered them rather cockily

They turn back to him, surprised and miffed.

"Was there a school bulletin? Was it in the news? Is there anybody in this town who doesn't know I'm a slayer?" buffy said as Kayla let out a big sigh

"I only know that you think you're a slayer and whatever a protector is, and I only know that cause I was in the library today." He replied

"Whatever. Just tell me where Willow would go." Kayla said getting frustrated

"You're serious."

"We don't find her, there's gonna be another dead body in the morning." Buffy tells him

he looks at them and Sees their not kidding.

"Come on." Xander said, As they head off to the graveyard as they step into a mausoleum buffy makes herself noticed by saying "Well, this is nice."

Buffy and Kayla stepped in, Xander following them. Everybody stops and looks at them

"A little bare, but a dash of paint, a few throw pillows – call it home." Kayla tells them letting her sarcasm out

"Who the hell are you?" the blond girl vampire asked

"Wow, you mean there's actually somebody around here who doesn't know already? That's a relief. I'm telling you, having a secret identity in this town is a job of work." Kayla replies

She and Buffy is moving between the two Vampires, who loosen their grip on their respective victims.

"Buffy Kayla , we bail now, right?" He asked them looking scared

"Not yet." The male vampire told them

"Okay, first of all, what's with this outfit? Live in the now, okay? You look like DeBarge." Kayla told him as buffy turned to the blond female vampire and said "Now, we can do this the hard way, or... well, actually, there's just the hard way."

"Fine with me." She tells them

"You sure? It's not gonna be pretty. We're talking violence, strong language, adult content. Mabey a little shock of my sister" Buffy warns her

As she speaks Kayla sees the Boy Vampire rushes to buffy from behind,charging at her with incredible speed and momentum But before he can get to her Kayla sticks her hand in front of buffy and you can see electrical sparks coming of it. The vampire stops in front of it and buffy pulls a stake and hands it to Kayla and stakes him in the heart. As he hits the ground, his body crumbles to dust.

"See what happens when you roughhouse?" Buffy said

Xander and Willow are speechless, staring at the ground where a body used to be.
