The room you two were in, was, for once, peaceful. You could even feel it in the aura surrounding it- no tension, no sense of impending danger. Just two souls, two hearts beating as one, inexplicably joined through unexpected circumstances. No need to be anyone but who you really were. There was warm sunlight filtering in through one of the large windows, little dust particles dancing in the sunbeams which were falling on the cherry oak bed you and Kylo had found yourselves lounging on.

Kylo's fingers were softly and slowly tracing lines on your arm, the touch of his fingertips raising little goosebumps all over your body. You were looking at him while he was doing this, his face blissfully calm, lost in the simple pleasure he gets from letting his fingers explore your soft skin. He hadn't realised you were gazing at him, and allowed a playful smile to play on his pink, plump lips. "Why are you smiling?" you whispered to him, your voice slightly cracking on account of having stayed silent for so long. You two had been quiet for a long time, engulfed in each other's company. There had been no desperate need to fill the silence. Being in each other's presence was enough to keep both of you pleasantly content. His eyes quickly travelled to yours, his eyebrows raised innocently, but before he had time to open his mouth you had placed a finger on his lips; a silent gesture for him to not answer. He kissed your finger, and couldn't stop himself from smiling even harder as he did so. You could sense his tranquility; he had started getting so tranquil around you, you could feel him slowly start to learn to rid himself of all the negative emotions that you know had been eating away at him like parasites. You grabbed his face in both your hands, and ran your fingers through his wavy locks, pushing away strands of hair that had been obscuring your view of his peaceful features. He had closed his eyes in silent glee as you placed a soft kiss on the tip of his nose. "I love it when you smile," you told him, your lips brushing against his scar. "You should smile often," you went on to add, quite coyly. You slid your hands behind his ears, interlocked with his hair, your thumbs brushing against his cheeks. Kylo tilted his face towards yours, and you bit your lips ever so slightly in the anticipation of what was about to happen.

Thump, thump thump- your heart wouldn't shut up- something was about to finally happen- his lips were so close to yours- thump thump thump- just a little closer and you would be finally kissing him—

THUMP THUMP THUMP!

"GET UP!"

The shouting jolts you awake, and you sit up so quickly in your bed that you feel yourself lose balance for a second, toppling back down onto your pillows. Your mouth is dry and your heart is beating out of your chest.

It had been a dream.

Whoever is outside pounding on the door shouts again for you to get up. Cranky, you swing the door open using the Force, whilst still groggily sitting up in bed, only to find General Hux standing there, red in the face, his hand in a balled up fist suspended in mid-air.

"LN-1311, have you gone deaf? I've been banging on this door for a good ten minutes now."

"My name's Luna." You silently curse at him for waking you up. The dream- oh, it had been so perfect. You feel your cheeks start to burn as you quickly rack your brains to hold on to every little detail of it. "Why were you banging on the door anyway?" you ask him, and start getting out of bed, stretching the tiredness away.

Hux doesn't reply straight away. He stops with a rather flushed look on his face before starting to say something, mixing his words up.

You look at him, puzzled, thinking it rather strange for him- the ruthless General Hux- to be mixing up his words and stuttering like that. And then you realise you had fallen asleep with just your training shirt on last night. No bottoms. Shit. Your first instinct is to use the Force and shut the door, leaving Hux standing on the other side of the wall, facing the metal door.

"Sorry for that," you shout from behind the door, yawning as you fumble about your drawers for a pair of pants.

"You're uh, you seem to have overslept. You're late for training," comes Hux's voice from behind the door. "Master Ren has been waiting for about thirty minutes." And with that, you sense him pausing awkwardly before turning to leave, thinking to himself, 'Woah.. That girl's stunning.'

You smile to yourself at the silent compliment. Someone actually thinks I look good, you think to yourself. Stunning, at that. Your mind, however, is quick to shift from Hux's compliment to Kylo's face in the dream, and you feel little flutterings in your stomach as you close your eyes and picture how he had kissed your finger.

Your thoughts move on to his lips- oh, his lips.

Your smile quickly diminishes as you realise, with a lurch in your stomach, that this isn't good.

Catching feelings, for Kylo Ren no less, is not something you wanted or needed. Not now.

How are you going to be able to keep this from him? You stomach drops as you imagine him reading your thoughts during training and seeing the dream.

Calm down Luna, you say to yourself, putting on the only black pair of skin-tight leggings you had left. This is just some silly crush, it's only because he hugged you last night- you haven't had contact with anyone in such a long time that you probably would be feeling this way towards Hux if he had hugged you first.

But as you walk out your door and start heading towards the training chambers, something at the back of your mind is persistently telling you that you know you would never feel for Hux what you feel for Kylo.

That you felt something for Kylo the second he took his helmet off for the first time.
