15: Rain

Rowan POV

I sat at the small cafe table, waiting for Isak. He was supposed to be here a few minutes ago, but I guess traffic was keeping him. I tapped my fingers on the table to a beat of a song that was stuck in my head. 

A few seconds later, Isak slipped into the booth across from me. 

"Hey." He said in his deep voice.

"Hi." I replied.

"Hi." He smiled, and I blushed a little. 

"So. How are you?" I asked him. 

"I'm good. You?"

"I'm alive, that's good, isn't it?" He laughed, and I watched him. 

The rest of the date went smoothly, and he walked me home. 

I hugged him at the doorstep. He smelled like rain, although the weather had been dry for nearly a week. 

"Bye see you tomorrow!" I call after him. He waves, and walks off. 

I got inside and closed the door. I liked Isak, but things just weren't the same. 

I shook my head and laughed at myself. Who was I to think that anyone could ever be the same as Corey?

I didn't sleep well. 

I'm really sorry, I'm just so out of ideas, and I wanted to update again before the end of the day since it's Friday!
