Chapter 2

Dippers pov

heard a twig snap behind me and froze. I was scared out of my wits and was tempted to run but I knew that if I did that if whatever was behind me was a hunter it would make them more likely to shoot at me.

Slowly and carefully I turned my head to see if I could see who was there only to meet the eyes of another cervitaur. She was around the same age as me with light brown hair, a dirty beige tank top, cute little cream freckles on her cheeks, a daisy crown and shiny green eyes.

"Who are you?" She asked as she slowly emerged from the protection of the trees. I turned around so I could could talk to her properly. " I'm dipper pines" I replied to her question. She smiled brightly at me and told me her name was Elise Bramblethorn. What a nice name.

Elise pov
~ going back to when dipper trips~

I had been trotting through the woods happily after a day of berry collecting when I heard a thud. I pannicked and started moving faster to where I heard the noise. I hoped it wasn't someone caught In another of the hunters traps.

I was relieved when I saw that it was just another cervitaur that had tripped on a rock. Wait, another cervitaur?! There had only been one herd of us in these woods and I had never seen him before. I had to warn him.

~time skip~

I had been following him through the woods to make sure he was safe when foolishly I stepped on a twig and snapped it. " Shoot" I whispered to myself. He had heard me and was frozen. He began to turn his head towards me and he spotted me. " who are you?" I asked him. He replied with Dipper Pines. What a nice name.

~ thanks for reading everyone. I have decided that I will probably just write short chapters and update about 3 - 4 times a week. I will be updating daily for the next 2 days as I am on holiday until then. This will not be a romance book! They will just become friends. Maybe if I decide to do a sequel there might be romance.
