I had gotten into both Westwick and Tolorem but even though Westwick would have deemed to have been the wiser choice it was Tolorem that had my heart. It was proved to be an even more grateful decision when I had learned of the acceptance letters my friends had received also from Tolorem. Now I could get into trouble with my friends at my side and I could hardly wait. I was never a patient soul and it was killing me to have to wait to see my friends but time was the essence of life, or so I have been told.

'Patience is a virtue' my mother would holler in my ear at the pathetic notion of my wanting to hurry to my dorm room to see Andrea-Lilac Carson and Tinker-Bella Brooks. The pair of them are my closest of friends but I hadn't seen Tink for 5 years after she had moved to London, and Andy since graduation due to my trainer. Alexis Rose Mayer had been strict on this summer's training as if in an urgent hurry to shape me up but I knew better than that. Ever since my mother had passed away Alexis had been grieving perilously and her grief resulted in pushing my limits in training.

I, unfortunately, have suffered a swollen ankle and aching pains in my back from this morning's training. Lexi had not been happy; it was easy for me to pick up on because of how many times she had flipped me on my back. I had checked previously in the mirror before I left and was acquainted to a deep purple bruise which had taken up my whole shoulder. I already knew that I would need a few herbs to conduct a healing potion. Basil, Wychester and Silsa, echoed in my head as a constant reminder.

Just when I was about to get away from the house Lexi had more in store for me but thankfully I didn't need to get my ass kicked too badly for it, I hoped. Inked Bones Café was the place I was in search for. I could feel that it was close, I just had no idea where.

A vampire hung out there constantly that wasn't kind when playing with his toys and the rubbish bins were getting full of bodies. Alexis worked for the supreme and highly respected agency, SCI, Supernatural Crime Investigations and she was too busy at the moment tracking down a pair of siblings. Their names are Jensen and Sasha Munnfield, they are suspects in the murder of their parents. I had grown tiresome of hearing about it as it was committed around about a decade ago. I presumed that they have most likely have died by now but it's still apparently the hottest story on the news. "WILL THE POLICE EVER FIND THEM?" To me it was a lost cause and I would rather listen to the chatter of surrounding people and angry cars on the road.

"Hey, watch it!" The yell caught my attention instantly. The eyes were like knives as they cut through the soul of her opponent. Summer orange hair that had grown blonde strands over this vacation period went well with her meadow green eyes and porcelain skin. She looked kind-hearted and caring to the core but her attitude barked back. The other girl had deep chocolate hair which was fashioned in a spiky shortness. The tips brushed her neck and her left side had been shaved, while her dark brown eyes as curious and stubborn as my own. Her fringe was a frosted white which heavily contrasted the dark brown of her hair. I instantly wondered about the argument, intrigued by curiosity like everyone else and like everyone else I did not hide my watchful eyes.

I was close to the argument and wanted to pass by but they took up the entire footpath and traffic was heavy. I tried my best to wander around the edge of the situation, having to wedge in between the strawberry blonde and the brick wall of a restaurant. However, I ended up knocking shoulders with the blonde who became suddenly enraged by it. She grasped me by my bruised shoulder and yanked me closer. She stood intimidatingly in front of me and I felt bemused by her temper. I didn't do anything so why are you mad at me.

"You better watch where you are going, Goth!" The outraged blonde spat in my face and poked my chest with each syllable, pushing me into a calm rage. There seemed to be nothing scarier than calm anger, withholding all the emotion for it to wait to burst. The amount of control needed to stay level headed when all you can see is the colour red. It was a special trait that I had gathered over the years which made others unsure of whether they wanted to mess with me or not. The girl took my silence as accomplishment, unable to see my facial expression under the shadow of my black hood. The girl felt pride and strength in this as she felt as if she could take on anyone who went at her. "Today was a good day," was written all over the girls face unaware of who she was messing with. I was taming my fury while the other girl with the thick chocolate hair also restrained to not beat the blonde into tomorrow morning. The girl with the odd hair and I seemed to share a hatred for humans and this blonde was pushing our nerves. I could not afford to expose my true identity which is why the water only boiled within me as the strawberry haired girl with her mundane life skipped away in her happy mood. The girl with the odd hair stared at the blonde with a dark scowl. I glared at the blonde doll with a grumpy attitude as she wandered off into the distance with fierceness in my eye.
