I woke up. It was all a dream. Nick was sill dead. Kate was still alive. But the hybrid was still out there. Waiting for someone. Waiting for a kill. I knew this. Well not exactly. I just had a hunch. And I thought. Out of all things. I wouldn't have hope. To kill it.
As I walked to school that day. I waited for the buses to arrive. I had to see if Kate was still alive. Just to be sure. Every bus came. I started crying. I was about to walk away, when one more bus pulled up. It was one if those short buses. As I turned to see who was coming off it. A green eyed girl, in a purple t-shirt and jean shorts walked down those steps. Kate was alive. And I ran to her and gave her a huge hug. She stood there. Some kids noticed us and she blushed. I let go. She asked why I did that.
"Because I had dream last night." I responded. She cocked her head. "What?" I asked as she looked in to my Blue eyes. She finally responded.
"When did your eyes become so red?" This was crazy. And I thought I was a part of hell.
