The sky turned blood-red, but the air turned green. It became hard to breathe. A few moments later, everything turned black.
I woke up to see the soldiers running. A tree had burst through the street and had one of them impaled on one of the branches. I got up off the ground and sprinted back towards Jason's.
What is going on? I ran in through the front door. Jason, Amber, Marie, and Chelsea looked at me and got back. Jason pulled a pistol and aimed it at me.
"Jason, what the hell is wrong with you?" I asked.
"Ok, this thing can speak," was all he said.
"What are you doing? I am your brother, dammit!" I yelled.
"Oh you ain't my brother. What are you?"
"Ok, stop playing games and put the gun down."
"Ethan? There's no way."
"What are you talking about?"
"Look in the mirror upstairs." I went upstairs and into the bathroom. What I saw in the mirror was not what I was expecting at all. I was...a red fox!
