Third P.O.V

Snape sat behind his desk starring at the lily in front of him that was slowly dying. He stood up grabbing the plant and threw it against the wall with so much anger. He sat back down and remembered what had happened only a couple months ago.

*flashback*

Lupin snuck behind Snape noticing he was holding the Lily and tears down his face. He cleared his throat earning Snape's attention. He finally then said "After all this time?" Snape looked back down at the lily quietly whispering "Always.."

What hurt him the most is that Lily would never know how he felt about her. He regretted ever calling her a mudblood. He regretted losing the love of his life. And sure Harry suffered, but he has people who love him. Snape does not. Because that moment that Harry James Potter became 'the boy who lived', Severus Snape became 'The man who loved'...

*end of flashback*

Snape sighed mentally regretting letting a werewolf, especially someone like Lupin see his weak side. But he knew he couldn't do anything about it now.
