"This is delicious Ban!" you complimented as you continued to shove spoonfuls of food down your throat.

"Thanks (Y/N)," he smiled.

All the sins chowed down their meals while Hawk scoured under the tables for more scraps.

King wiped his mouth with a handkerchief. "I'm going to talk to Diane," he said.

"Ooooo! Are you going to confess to her?" you and Meliodas teased in unison.

King's face lit up into a shade of scarlet. "N-no! I-I'm just going to t-talk to her as a f-friend! and besides! I don't l-like her!" he stammered.

You and Elizabeth giggled while Meliodas raised his eyebrows up and down.

"Why dafaq you lying," Ban sang. Everyone laughed and almost died at Ban's joke, even Gowther.

"Shut up!!" King yelled in embarassment, floating out the door in an angry mood.

"I think we went too far," you said, letting out a few more giggles. Merlin nodded.

"He's going to be fine," Meliodas said. "Anyway, let me show you guys to your rooms!"

He lead all the sins up the stairs and showed them to their own cozy rooms.

You went to yours and freshened up. You plopped down on your bed, feeling the slight motion of the Boar Hat's movements. You could hear Diane and King laugh during their conversation, making you smile.

A knock on the door interrupted your daydreaming. "(Y/N), may I come in?" a calm voice spoke.

"Uh, yeah!" you replied. The door swung open as Meliodas stepped in.

"Hey (Y/N), I just wanted to talk to you about everything so far," he said, walking over to you.

"What do you mean?" you asked as you patted your hand on the bed, signaling him to sit down next to you.

Meliodas took your offer and continued talking. "I just wanted to make sure if you're okay with the adventure so far. I know suddenly taking you in is an unexpected thing, so I wanted you to feel welcome."

You nodded. "I'm alright! Meeting all the sins was pretty exciting!" you said, smiling.

Meliodas's POV

(Y/N) flashed me her beautiful smile. I smiled back at her and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"That's good to hear! But you know, if you miss your parents, I could always bring you back," I offered. Honestly, I felt a bit sad saying that....

(Y/N) looked down at her lap and sighed. "W-well...I do miss them..a whole lot...and I wanna know if they're okay and all...But it wouldn't hurt to be gone a bit longer, right?" she replied. I could tell there was hesitance laced into her response.

I nodded, although I felt like (Y/N) was unsure. It was dangerous bringing her along with us, but I could sense something.

(Y/N) isn't...normal. I need to know what she is. She herself hasn't figured that out yet.

What are you?

Your POV

Meliodas looked like he was deep in thought about something so you poked his cheek. "Meliodas?"

His emerald eyes met your (E/C) eyes. "Y-yeah?"

You chuckled. "You were staring into space!"

Meliodas chuckled too. "I'm just glad that you're okay with all this," he said, taking your hand and squeezing it.

You blushed and your mouth curved up a bit. "Yeah.."

"Well, you should get some rest. Bernia is not that far from here, but the rest of the day will be exhausting."

You nodded and ruffled his blond curls. He pouted and fixed his hair.

"Good'night' Meliodas," you said, slipping into the covers.

"Sleep well (Y/N)," he said, kissing your forehead.

Before you could complain, he walked out the door and softly closed it.

"Meliodas..." you whispered, touching the spot where his lips were softly planted.

Elizabeth's POV

I slipped off my shoes and sighed. It's been so tiring this week...

I stepped out on the balcony of Meliodas's bedroom and breathed in the cool, fresh air. I giggled as I spotted Diane and King 'flirting' with each other.

I placed my fist on my chest and looked over the tree tops. "I wonder what's in store for us now..." I muttered.

Warm arms wrapped around my waist, startling me and making me jump.

"It's just me."

I sighed in relief. "Hey Meliodas," I said.

I turned around and faced the adorable blonde boy. "To answer your question, it all depends on our actions in the present," he said, leaning on the railing.

I thought about his answer. "That is true, and the actions that we have already done in the past," I finished. Meliodas hugged me and shoved his face in my breast.

I blushed, although he has done this many times. "M-Meliodas..." I stammered.

"Ne, Elizabeth?" he said.

"Yes?"

"Do you think (Y/N) is....normal?"

I sighed and hugged him back.

"No, I do not."

"I could sense something too."
