With a careful touch, he glides the back of his index finger down my cheek, leaving unwelcoming chills in its wake as his skin lightly kisses my skin.

I shudder as the goose bumps begin to rise and the adrenaline in my veins come alive.

He grabs my wrists and roughly snaps the cuffs around my forearm, securing my hands behind my back as the silver cuff bites viciously into my skin.

I test the restraints and I find I can't move my arm at all without receiving any type of pain from these cuffs.

"I'd stop moving if I were you." He mutters.

I obey, realising the sad reality that the more I move— the more I'll end up hurting myself.

His fingers, long and rough, cup my chin and force me to look up at him, but I can't see anything; I'm blindfolded.

His scent captures me and I'm immediately reminded of that night and how much I hate him.

"I never wanted it to end this way Tori." Devon whispers, and although he sounds sincere and caring, I know damn well he's enjoying every bit of this— his revenge.
