Simon woke up, the harsh glare of his phone hurting his eyes. It was isabelle.
"Clary's gone." She sobbed.
"What!? What do you mean 'gone'!?"
"Sebastian took her. She is gone without a trace." He couldn't breathe. There was a ringing in his ears If he was this bad, he couldn't even imagine how Jace was.
"Is Jace okay?" Wow. He never thought he would be worrying for Jace's health.
"No. He won't eat won't sleep. Just training. All day. He's gonna collapse soon."
"I'll be over soon." He put on his Jacket. He looked around as he was walking. Everyday life was going along, as if Clary hadn't gone.
He froze. He could feel something behind him.
"Hello daylighter." He turned.
"Sebastian." he hissed, baring his fangs.
"Save the theatrics." Sebastian grabbed him, and they vanished.
