Chapter 19

Harley's POV

After the events of yesterday Hunter and I agreed to spend the day together watching movies just the two of us like we use to when we where kids. It was my turn to pick a movie while he got up and made some popcorn. I was just relaxing back into the couch when my phone vibrated it was Ace I grabbed my phone and saw the message, he wanted to know how I was. I sent him a quick reply before turning my phone off, that's  when Hunter came back into the room. I clicked play on the movie and cuddled up with my big brother. We chilled like that for a while just watching movie after movie. I yawned and began to drift of to sleep.

Unfortunately for me it wasn't a peaceful sleep. It was the day I got jumped at school. I was reliving the memories, if only I had fought back yeah but if you had tried to get out of their grip you could have broken both arms which would have been worse than what you ended up with. Argued my thoughts. It was then that I passed out from a hit the dickhead had thrown at me. I was then in the hospital. I heard the noises and the voices around me then I was awake and crying on Jay. I wouldn't let go. He was the one who had saved me. Why though. Why would he save me??

I felt myself being shook awake "wake up Har come on" I opened my eyes
"what is it?? What's going on??" Hunter smiled at me,
"You screamed in your sleep and then you began to cry." I blushed "it's ok Har wanna talk to me about it??" I nodded
"It was the day I got jumped at school and what happened in the hospital" he nodded and hugged me
"I'm not gonna let anything like that happen to you again" I smiled up at him as he put his arms around me again.
"Hey bro??"
"What is it??" I smirked
"You've still gotta take me snowboarding at some point" he threw his head back
"I know and I will, you still got your snowboard??" I scoffed
"Really is that even a question?? Of course I have it's one of my prize possessions." He smiled
"Of course it is well I'll arrange it and we'll go soon ok??" I nodded
"How are your skis anyway??" He rolled his eyes
"They're fine ok, so it's settled I'll organise it and then we'll go" I nodded I was really looking forward to the trip.

Jay's POV

Today was Sunday and a boring one at that. I was just lounging round the house since Alec was still asleep at the current time. I was bored as fuck when my phone rang "hello??" I asked as I answered
"Hello?? Answered the voice
"Who is this??" I asked
"Who are you??" Replied the voice
"I'm Jay spencer and you are??"
"Sorry bro it's Ace, Brodie got hold of my phone and changed all the contact names" I laughed
"What did he change the names too??" I heard him laugh
"Well he changed my dads name to Darth Vader, he changed his to supreme King of the universe, and many other stupid things." I laughed
"What's my contact name then??" I heard him laugh again
"Yours was 'Batman'" I couldn't help but laugh
"Why??"
"I don't know he said it had to do with the fact that you seem to hate people and have a secret identity and life as Cobra" I couldn't help but laugh
"I don't hate people I mean yeah some are annoying pains in the ass but it doesn't mean I hate the entire human race" he laughed
"Yeah I know, sorry about that, catch you later bro" with that he hung up.

A little while later Alec came down stairs dressed in jeans and a checkered shirt he looked adorable. "Hey buddy what's up??" He smiled
"I'm hungry" I rolled my eyes at him
"Of course you are, I'll make you some toast." He smiled again
"What are we doing today??"
"What ever you want to do" I replied as I walked into the kitchen, him following right behind me. I put his bread in the toaster before turning around to him
"So what do you wanna do??"
"Can we go to the park??" I smiled
"Sure we can, we can go once you've eaten your toast." Once the toast was done and he'd eaten it we headed out the door.

We where walking down the path to the park when I had a great idea. I grabbed Alec causing him to giggle before placing him on my shoulders and beginning to run. He was giggling like a maniac all the way to the park. Once we arrived I set him down so he could go play. I sat down on the bench and watched him. When my phone rang I picked it up immediately
"Hello??"
"Hey Cobra, you need to come to the gym today"
"Why?? What did I do now??" Steve chuckled
"You did nothing wrong but you need to sign up for what fights you wanna do so I can send it all off, you Raven and Blade are the last three that have to do it. Raven and Blade are coming at around half two so what time should I expect you??" I sighed
"I'll come at around three, but my brother will have to come with me"
"That's not a problem see you at three" with that he cut off the call.

Great all I needed was a break and I still had to go to the gym. I looked up for Alec so I could tell him that we had to go somewhere soon when I spotted him on the monkey bars. I had visions of him falling off so I began to run over to him. He got really far when his hand slipped he screamed as he fell. I dived and caught him landing with my back to the floor taking the brunt of the fall with my arms wrapped safely around him hugging him to my chest. Once I got up and put him down I crouched down so I could look him in the eyes. "What have I told you about the monkey bars??" He looked down and scuffed his shoe on the ground
"You said not to use them unless you're there" he looked up with a guilty expression "sorry" I couldn't stay mad with him
"I'm glad you're safe ok. Just don't do it again" he smiled
"I won't, I need practice so that I can be big and strong like you" I laughed at his comment
"We've got to go soon, I have to do something really quick then we'll do something else" he nodded his head at me. I smiled as I placed him on my shoulders again before heading towards the gym.
