Chapter 21

Harley's POV

A week had passed since Layla and her mindless minions confronted me in the cafeteria. I was heading out of school to head to the gym when my phone rang
"Hello??" I asked
"Hello Raven" the voice replied, I froze
"Who is this??" There was silence
"That doesn't matter right now does it??"
"Um yeah it does, Who the fuck are you and how the fuck did you get my number??"
"Honestly, you don't remember me??" The voice on the other end almost sounded hurt
"If I remembered who you where I wouldn't be asking would I??" Was my sarcastic response.

The person on the other end sighed
"Wow and I thought being your best friend would have at least got me some recognition" I froze again
"Wait Pixie??"
"Duh, who else??"
"What the actual fuck?! That didn't sound like you" I heard laughter on the other end
"I know great right?? It's this new app I got, it changes your voice to all sorts of weird things"
"Well thanks for scaring the shit out of me"
"Your welcome, besides your reaction was priceless" I sighed
"Haha very funny are you training tonight??"
"Yeah of course, are you??" I smiled at her
"Yeah I'll be training tonight, I'll see you soon, and you can show me this new app that you scared me with" she laughed
"Yea see you soon."

After that little incident I headed home to grab my trainers since I forgot them before heading to the gym. When I got home Hunter wasn't there, there was a note on the fridge that said he was at the gym already since he headed there straight from work. I rolled my eyes at his actions; how did he know I'd come home first and why didn't he just text me?? I sighed I really will never understand my brother. I ran up to my room quickly and grabbed my trainers before running back down and locking the front door before heading to the gym.

Once I reached the gym I noticed that all the champions cars where there along with some of the regulars. I smiled as I headed inside. I signed in with Jack before heading to the changing rooms I swapped out my baggy oversized top for my black sports bra that had electric blue patterns on, my baggy jeans for a pair of matching short compression shorts and finally my shoes for some awesome electric blue trainers before grabbing my hoodie and tying it around my waist. I grabbed a hair tie and began putting my hair up in a bun, I left the changing room still doing my hair until it was up the way I wanted it to be.

I spotted my brother and ran up behind him and jumped on his back, he stumbled but regained his balance and wrapped his arms around my legs for support
"What's up Raven??" I smiled
"Not much, what's up with you and your weird ass messages on the fridge??" He just shrugged in response "also how did you know I'd go home first??" He laughed
"I saw your trainers in your room when I put your clean clothes on your bed for you to put away, so I knew you'd come and get them." I smiled
"So?? You could have text me" he laughed and dropped my legs allowing me to stand on the floor.
"Go do some training, the competition is coming up soon" I nodded and headed over to one of the bags.

I grabbed my gloves out of my pocket and began to practice. After about an hour I was joined by Pixie,
"What took you so long??" She smiled
"Oh you know the usual, anyway you wanna see the app that I scared you with??" I nodded
"I was about to take a break anyway" she smiled and brought out her phone, she got the app up and I began scrolling through all the options.
"Wait hold up, you can make your voice sound like Darth Vader??" She nodded
"Yeah I used the one that changes your voice to what you'd sound like as a man" I laughed
"So that's why I didn't know who it was" she laughed
"That and the fact I turned off my caller ID." We messed around with the app for a while more before returning to training.

We trained for a few more hours till I decided to go home and get everything ready for school tomorrow.
