Chapter 22

Random douche's POV

I'd just gotten out of gym and was heading to the lunch room when I spotted her. I elbowed my friend "bro do you see her??" He looked in the direction I was pointing and whistled
"Since when did we have girls that look like models here??" I laughed
"No idea bro, this should be fun" with that we headed towards the raven haired beauty.

As we got closer I noticed her tattoos they looked really hot. She seemed to notice us as we got a little closer. "Can I help you??" She asked, I smirked
"Yeah how about you come round mine at around seven and we can have a little fun" she scoffed at my answers and tried to walk away, I grabbed her arm to stop her and dragged her back.
"Let go of me" she growled
"Ooh feisty one are you" I laughed
"I'll give you till the count of three to let go of my arm" she spat. "One" I laughed what would se be able to do??
"Two" she looked up and her eyes held a fire in them which was kinda scary
"Three" and with that last word she grabbed my arm and twisted it behind me before shoving me to the floor.
"Next time maybe you'll listen to me" there were foot steps coming from down the hall she took one look in that direction before bolting, I wonder why??
Harley's POV

Great that's just what I needed today, first I get forced into wearing the schools new gym kit, then that bitch stole my clothes, a jackass was being well a jackass to me and finally the icing on the cake, the one and only Jay Spencer just had to be the one to walk down that corridor. It's like the universe hates me today.

Anyway at the current time I'm in the locker room rummaging through my locker to see if I have any clothes to wear but as luck would have it, I had none, nada, zilch, zero, nothing just fan-fucking-tastic. So it looks like I'm majorly screwed. I sighed as my stomach growled I really needed some food. Only problem is that I can't go to the cafeteria right now. My stomachs growled again, screw it I'm going in, I need food.

With that I shut my locker and headed towards the cafeteria as quickly and quietly as possible. The doors where insight, I had made it when "Raven??" Crap why does this always happen to me?? I continued like I didn't hear him. "Raven?? What are you doing here??" I spun round quickly to come face to face or rather face to chest with Jay.
"Oh hey Jay, what's up??"
"The sky, now what are you doing here??"
"Oh you know just checking out the scenery" he gave me a flat look clearly not impressed. I sighed "I'm a student here same as you" he blinked at me several times as if waiting for me to say it was a joke, my face stayed the same and he finally let the words sink in.
"Wait, what?? How?? How did I not know that you came here??" I laughed at him
"Because I never made myself stand out, because I didn't tell you and also you probably didn't notice because you've got a lot going on right now." He sighed and nodded
"I guess you're right" I smiled and he smiled back "wanna grab something to eat??"
"I'd that even a question?? I'm so hungry right now I'm gonna faint" and for added dramatic effect I made a swooning action causing him to chuckle
"Alright come on I don't want you fainting on me" I laughed and followed him into the cafeteria.

As soon as we sat down all eyes where on us or rather me including the eyes of Ace and Brodie clearly they didn't know what was going on. Jay got up to go and get food for us so I turned to Ace and Brodie "get it over with ask away" and just like that they bombarded me with questions. "Ok ok one at a time"
"What the hell happened to keeping both parts of your life separate??" Asked Brodie
"The queen birch happened, she stole my clothes and gym shirt leaving me with just my sports bra, gym shorts and this cropped hoodie which she oh so kindly left for me" I replied the last few words dripping with sarcasm. Ace was the one to ask the next question
"Ok how did she get your gym shirt you where wearing it weren't you??" I sighed
"Yeah at the beginning of the lesson." They gave me strange looks so I retold to day's events including my little run in with douche bag#1 and #2 they where a little bit pissed at first but they laughed when I told them what I did.
"Wow so much for only fighting at the gym" I scoffed
"Hey this doesn't count it was self defence" the both of them rolled their eyes
"Sure whatever  you say" I scowled at them causing them to laugh more at me.

It was just after that, that Jay came back with our food thank god. As soon as he set it down I grabbed mine and began eating immediately causing all three to look at me weirdly "what??" They shook their heads at me
"Oh nothing it's just you really must have been hungry" I put down the fries I had and rolled my eyes
"You make it out like you've never seen a girl eat in front of you before." I shrugged and continued eating before starting up a conversation "so how's everyone feeling about the upcoming championships??" Ace was the first one to speak up
"Well I'm feeling pretty good especially since the matches and contests I signed up for don't have much competition for me." I cocked an eyebrow at him and he continued "I decided to check out some of the competition in my categories and all I can say is I think I'll do alright." I nodded
"What about you guys??" The other two said very similar things "so serious question does anyone know where the competition is going to be this year I mean they move it every two years so it's hard to keep up with it all." They all agreed
"I think that Steve will explain it all at tonight's meeting" I nodded and then the bell went. Great now off to another random lesson I probably don't care about.

*time skip end of the day*

After all the dodgy stares I got from the kids in my class as I answered for registration it was finally time to go home. I thought that today's events has simmered down until I caught sight of the queen bitch herself surrounded by a large group of people she smirked at me, this could not be good. I headed out to the parking lot and she followed with the others following her. She stopped right in front of me.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?? Harley Everdeen one of the schools best students, the quiet shy nerd. But that's not all is it" with each word she spoke her voice got louder till she was practically yelling, getting everyone's attention and causing them to look over. "Harley Everdeen is more than she appears to be, she's not the quiet defenceless nerd she acts like, no there's more than that, the nerd is all an act, she's a lier, a faker and a trouble maker. After all she's the one that got most of the jocks expelled it was her fault it happened." I was gobsmacked did the people really believe her??

She smirked at me "that was not my fault, your the one that set the jocks on me, they where fallowing your orders and sure I might not be just a quiet nerd but that's still part of who I am, it's also one of the reasons you can't stand me, one of the reasons why you bully me because I'm different to you because I don't care as much as you do about how I look" she growled at me
"Lies all of it, I never did any of that its true what I say you are a lier, a faker and a trouble maker." Then she began chanting it "lier, faker, troublemaker. Lier, faker, troublemaker" others began joining in until it became deafening I put my hands over my ears as images flashed through my head, of all the bad things that had happened and even all the things that the fighter had told me about how I wasn't loved and how no one cared, I fell to my knees and screamed but it was hardly anything compared to their chant. I felt utterly alone until I felt someone's arms around me they picked me up and whispered thing to me and that's when I realised it was Hunter I wrapped my arms around him and sobbed.

I peaked over his shoulder to see the rest of the champions looking kinda pissed off, especially Pixie and Spider. But what surprised me was the fact that  Siren was the one that spoke, she held so much aggression and authority in her voice that it chilled me to the bone. The chanting stopped and she spoke calmly to them which  was even more terrifying. While all that happened Hunter took me over to Pixie and Spider who engulfed me in a hug. "Hey guys" I said between sniffles "what are you all doing here??" She smiled softly at me,
"Well Ace and Brodie called us panicking so we all got here as fast as we could to help out." I nodded and smiled at her as she pulled me in to another hug. That's when I heard someone rushing towards us and soon after another pair of arms where around me the persons scent made me smile it was Jay. He pulled me into a hug burying his face into my hair before whispering "I'm so sorry Harley, I'm so sorry" I froze
"When did you realise?? When did you find out??" I felt him smile against me
"I put the pieces together, why you where so familiar looking why you didn't go to gym after what happened at school but the main one was Hunter, that's what made it certain that Harley and Raven where the same person, that they where both you."

His answer made me smile, at least he didn't hate me for keeping this from him. I felt him pick me up and carry me over to the truck that some of the champions came in before getting in with meditating in his lap. It was then that I felt a feminine hand on my back, it was Siren " hey Raven" I turned to face her and she smiled before handing me something "I got your clothes back for you" I smiled
"Thanks Siren" she smiled before walking off. I sighed as I relaxed against Jays chest before gently drifting off to sleep.
