{Ok so I got this from my dream the other night. And yeah, it was a pretty good dream}

Imagine getting in a fight with Norman and having Sean comfort you.
==========================

You always hated fighting with your boyfriend. It sucked. And it especially sucks with it being on your birthday!

You couldn't even remember why you two were fighting. That's how stupid it was. But it made you more upset that he hadn't even told you happy birthday today. Or the fact that he hasn't shown up to your party.

It was hard to converse with everyone when all you wanted to do was run away and cry.

Grabbing your phone out, you checked to see if Norman had texted you.

He hadn't.

So, you decided to text him. It was something simple but described how you were feeling.

Wow :(

That's all you sent.

Suddenly though, you realized your best friend wasn't there. And you wanted his company more than anything right now.

So you got your phone back out and texted Sean.

Hey, you're coming to my party right?

It didn't take long for him to reply.

Yes! Of course! I'm so sorry I'm running a little late though.

You smiled down at the phone. At least Sean would be here.

======

As said, Sean arrived.

"Y/n! Happy birthday!" He cheered and handed you a bouquet of red roses and a small box. Wrapping his arms tightly around you, it took all you had not to break down.

"Thank you Sean" you smiled.

He placed his items down on the table and you two began conversing.

Minutes later you had a small group formed around you. Consisting of two of your high school friends, your two twin brothers, and Sean.

You couldn't help but keep checking your phone. Hoping Norman would reply. But he hasn't. You also noticed the message you sent had said 'read'

"Excuse me I'm going to take a quick walk.. My stomach doesn't feel right" you quickly excused yourself and made your way outside.

The good thing about living in apartments, is there's lots of places to hide. Bad part, you're never alone.

So you decided to go to the place hardly anyone goes, the stairs.

Finding them quickly, you plopped down on the first step and covered your face in your hands, taking deep breaths to calm yourself.

You loved Norman deeply, and him acting this way was tearing you up. You just wanted him to be there, holding you and telling you happy birthday.

"I knew that your stomach hurting was a lie" a familiar voice boomed from behind you.

You turned around to see Sean looking at you, confusion and concern in his eyes. He sat next to you, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into him. "What's wrong?" He whispered, rubbing your back soothingly.

"How did you know something was wrong?" You ask, wiping your eyes.

"I know my best friend" he smiled and kissed the top of your head.

"Normans being a jerk" you mumble into his shirt.

"Ahh.. I was wondering why he wasn't here.. I thought maybe he was running late. Wouldn't have surprised me" Sean replied.

"Nope.. He's been ignoring me and hasn't even told me happy birthday" you sigh, more tears threatening to fall.

"Hey now, no crying ok? It's your birthday you need to be happy" Sean said, holding you in arms length while wiping your tears.

"I'm sorry" you whispered.

Sean pulled you back into his chest and you felt him move and heard the clicking of a keyboard on a phone but you ignored it. Soon, he put his phone back in his pocket.

"Norman can be an asshole sometimes but you already know that" Sean stared out and chuckled, causing you to nod in agreement and chuckle with him. "But I'll tell you something he told me.... He told me that he has never been more in love with anything than with you right now. He said that he wouldn't know what he would do if he lost you. He said he would be broken and lost. And I know he's telling the truth. I know my best friends. I'm a good reader I promise you that. So everything will work out ok? I promise" Sean explained, rubbing your back softly.

Your sobs turned into sniffles as you slowly began to calm down. "What would I do without you Sean?" You ask, smiling at your best friend.

"Die of Boredom?" He laughed

You shook you head. Suddenly, footsteps were heard coming up the steps. You pulled away from Sean and started to get up when he pulled you back down. "Sean someone's coming.. I don't want anyone to see me like this" you mumble trying to leave.

"Then I'll focus all the attention on me" he said and starting singing the lyrics to Adeles "hello" very horribly.

You couldn't help but laugh at his dorkiness.

The person who was coming up the stairs finally made it and you gasped when you saw him.

Norman.

He was dressed nicely, with a black button up and black dress pants. He carried roses and a present in his hands. He didn't wear a hat which was surprising. And he didn't even wear his sunglasses though they rested on top of his head.

You turned around to look at Sean but he wasn't there anymore.

"Hi" Norman whispered, walking up to you slowly.

"Hi" you mumbled looking towards the ground.

"I'm so sorry.. I was being an asshole. Happy birthday baby.. I love you" Norman said and handed you the gifts. You took them and looked up into his eyes. They held uncertainty in them.

"I love you too Norman" you tell him and wrap your arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.

"I ruined your birthday" Norman mumbled sadly into your neck.

"No you didn't" you try to tell him.

"Yes I did.. I made you cry on your birthday.. What asshole does that?" He blabbered on.

You shut him up by pressing a quick kiss to his lips. "You're here now"

"I'm so sorry.. I'll do anything to make it up to you" Norman said sadly.

You nodded you head and grabbed his hand. "Come on.. Let's go eat some cake" you said and dragged him back to your apartment to join the party.

It wasn't the best birthday, but you still had Norman and that's all that mattered.
