I put the finishing touches on my outfit, Shanti and I were going to go get our nails done. we have a lot of catching up to do. out all of the girls that my brother has dated or slept with whatever the case may be, Shanti was always my favorite. The way she really hold him down and cares for him is just so good.
Herb did do her dirty in the past but now I can really see that he wanna make things right which I'm happy for him cause now he got a baby on the way and that's a whole lot of responsibility. I walked into the living room and waited for Shanti to text me she was outside.
"where you going like that?" herb asking coming from the kitchen
"out with your baby mama" i said

me and herb are really close but sometimes he can be uber protective over the slightest shit. if it was up to him I'd be locked up in my room and never be allowed to come out, only to eat and use the bathroom.
"fine if you wanna go out and be a little hoe then whatever, get fucked by the whole gang why don't you" with that he stormed out
I sighed and sat back down cause that genuinely hurt my feelings.
"who round here slamming door in my damn house?" my mom asked coming in the living room
"your son" I rolled my eyes
"you look nice, what's wrong with you?" my og asked
"herb, he just so disrespectful.. he told me to go change and I told him no. then he told me since I didn't wanna change that I should just go out and be a hoe and get done by the whole gang" I made sure to be careful how I spoke around my mom
"that boy I tell ya, but baby you know why he's like that.. he's been "protecting" you all his life he just don't wanna see you grow up" she spoke
"but ma over an outfit, like I get it he want me to be his little sister forever, but he ain't have to go the extra mile and say that shit to me, he really hurt my feelings" I said
"watch your mouth" my mom gave a stern look "but I know, I'll try and talk to him to tell him to apologize cause he was wrong"
my phone vibrated signaling I had a text.
