God IS in control

STOP... Why do you continue to let the world around you overwhelm you? Are you thinking God does not care? Why wouldn't you want to go through this day and every day without a worry? Do you think that is just not comprehensible? Where is your faith? STOP and put your trust in the Lord. He is faithful. Trust that. He is right here, right now. When you are feeling overwhelmed, acknowledge the name of Jesus. Let Him refresh your soul. The world around you is still going to be here in five minutes. STOP and let go of the pressures of it. The more you acknowledge Jesus, the less you focus on what has you overwhelmed. Don't lose heart. God IS in control.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for always being right here with me as I go through my day. I will look to You in all that I do today, because You have already gone before me. You are my strength. I will not fear my circumstances or storms of life, just because I'm not sure what tomorrow might bring. I will not fear evil, for You are with me. Lord, You are my Shepherd. I trust You. I am grateful for Your loving guidance and protection throughout this day. Show me who You are and show others who You are through me. In all that I do, may I glorify You. In the wonderful and precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
